September 2014[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Chai (surname). However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:

  • Be familiar with the guidelines and style
  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
    • Only add a "red link" if used in an article, and include the "blue link" to that article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references

To reiterate, each line should only contain one link. Thanks, and happy editing! Ibadibam (talk) 22:02, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

March 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm AlexTheWhovian. I noticed that you made one or more edits to an article, Jessica Jones (season 2), concerning the updates of review statistics, box office numbers, sports statistics, or some other frequently updated data with a fixed web address, but you did not update the |access-date= parameter in the citation template. The |access-date= parameter is the full date when the content pointed to by the URL was last verified to be working and supporting the text being cited in the article. This means that the parameter needs to be updated whenever the content is updated. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- AlexTW 02:57, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hidenobu Kiuchi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eddie Matos (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Iron Lad[edit]

Hi. Please do not add unsupported material to articles, as you did with this edit to Iron Lad, as this violates Wikipedia's Verifiability policy. The video in question makes no mention of the actor whose name you added to the article, and in any event, a YouTube video on an unknown account is not a reliable source, per WP:USERG/WP:IRS.

Wikipedia requires that material added to its articles be supported by the reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources that accompany those additions. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 19:54, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Video game actresses from Northern Ireland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read!
