Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Big Time Love Song has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/bigtimerush/.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Big Time Bad Boy do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Big Time Love Song. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article.   — Jeff G. ツ 22:12, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Big Time Mansion. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.   — Jeff G. ツ 23:55, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Big Time Bad Boy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Should be merged with Big Time Rush

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File source problem with File:Big-time-rush-jjj-interview.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Big-time-rush-jjj-interview.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:24, 8 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 06:24, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Big-time-rush-jjj-interview.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Big-time-rush-jjj-interview.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 03:54, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Btr logo.png[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Btr logo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 03:56, 10 August 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 03:56, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Big-Time-Rush3.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Fair use rationale for File:Big Time Rush 0001.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Big Time Rush 0001.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. The article Stephen Keys has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. A tag has been placed on File:BTRalbum.gif requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

A tag has been placed on File:Big time rush.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free image with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria.

If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the image can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{non-free fair use in|article name that the image is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the image. If the image has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

Ronhjones tagged it for deletion because you gave a rationale for a logo, which this image definitely isn't. I've declined to delete it, because the rationale is easily fixed; however, since the rationale wasn't valid, I've removed it. Not in source cited. No reliable sources = not notable (if real).

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Spongebob vs. SpongeBob[edit]

Hi, I've noticed you using "Spongebob" instead of "SpongeBob". Is there a reason for this? I'm asking mostly of my own benefit in case my instincts are wrong. But I've seen you change it here as well as here, here, here, etc., so I thought I'd ask ya. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:30, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

Hi, VP44444, I would like to encourage you to please use edit summaries when making changes to articles, especially when reverting other editors' contributions ( so they know the rationale behind your bold edits. stop Please stop reverting other editors' contributions without using edit summaries. While the bold, revert, discuss cycle is crucial to our community's editing process, leaving out the discussion step of the cycle runs contrary to community standards, and continued resubmission of contested content without discussion can be construed edit-warring. August 2013[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at SpongeBob SquarePants (season 9). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. (You appear to be edit-warring with yourself. Instead, you should use the Show Preview button before saving.) Jackmcbarn (talk) 04:08, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@VP44444: A very specific, disruptive problem that I have with your edits, is that you appear to be making constant edit tests in the article space instead of finalizing your changes in your sandbox before submitting them. The result, is that your edits are taking up far too much of the article's edit history, and other editors' watchlists, without any significant constructive addition being made. For example, in these two edits, [4][5] you add trivial information about SpongeBob premiering in May, then you cut it. (And rightfully so.) And you've been having exceptional difficulty for days trying to work out the sentence that describes SpongeBob Season 9's transition to an HD format. The sentence was fine the last time I edited it, but then you added "with a picture suitable for HDTV" [6], which you then changed erroneously to "HDTV's" (erroneous, because plurals don't have apostrophes before them) [7], which you then changed to "format especially suitable for HDTV's"[8] etc. You really need to tone this stuff down. It's disruptive to the way other editors review articles. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:18, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

stop Please stop making edit tests in the article space. Use the preview button. If you continue this disruptive style of editing, (edit, save, revert, save, re-edit, save, delete, save) I will seek the attention of an administrator and/or begin a request for comment on your behavior. Examples:

Please don't remove access dates from references. Because web pages are subject to change, giving the date that a URL was accessed is important, so that others know what version of the page was used as a source. Thanks. Trivialist (talk) 11:51, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

stop This is your last warning. Stop making disruptive test edits to live articles, even if you intend to change them back. Diff: SpongeBob S5, SpongeBob S6, SpongeBob S9 Cyphoidbomb (talk) 08:51, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:37, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

By editing this article through the semi-protection and disregarding the call for talk page discussion you have caused the article to be fully protected. I will be undoing your edit so that your preferred version will not be sustained. Do not misunderstand my message; I have no preference with regard to the article content. Discussion must take place, and consensus determined, before the protection will be lifted. If you have any questions or require any clarification you may leave a message on the article talk page. Tiderolls 23:55, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • No response at all? The re-sizing of an infobox image twice was more important than addressing another editor's concern with your editing a protected article? Tiderolls 08:11, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
