June 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page List of contemporary artists do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. freshacconci talktalk 10:32, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Mind Games.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Mind Games.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 13:12, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

I have blocked this account from contributing to Wikipedia, as this use of a secondary account to circumvent a block is forbidden by our policies. See Wikipedia:Sock puppetry. You have been told that using material from this website is a violation of our copyright policy, and I advised you above not to edit articles with this account. I understand that you once again pasted this text onto Wikipedia, at the now-deleted Sarkissian Arthur. I will watchlist this talk page in case you'd like to discuss the matter further. Please read my response to you at my archive and let me know if it is unclear. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:55, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your e-mail, as I said above, I blocked this account because your use of it is forbidden by sock puppetry policy. Also, you have continued pasting text onto Wikipedia after having been told several times why you cannot do this. While Wikipedia welcomes anyone to contribute, we do have rules that must be followed. When contributors don't follow these rules, it is sometimes necessary to block their accounts.
If you wish to continue to contribute within Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, please follow the directions to request unblocking at your primary account talk page, User talk:Hendrixmorisson. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:38, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
