Hello, I’m Rodrigo Valequez (the operator of the bot). I’d like to say that the unconstructive edits performed by this bot happened while I was testing if the bot runned as it should (on the bot accounts own talk page). Wikipedia:Teahouse was on another tab and the bot somehow opened it. My understanding is that the bots clicking system (which is supposed to target “edit source” when it detects a typo) somehow opened the tab. During the test, the bot wasn’t correcting the typos at first so I tried to change the coding. I also tried to make it clear that the bot was supposed to correct “helo” into “hello”. When the bot changed the tab, it started to change every single word into “hello”. I was able to stop it by trying to delete it’s code (I tried to cancel the program but it didn’t work) which resulted in my computer crashing. When I finally managed to open my computer, the bot had recieved multiple warnings. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by my bot. ValequezBot (talk) 21:29, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rodrigo Valequez, you are not blocked as a person. The "autoblock" feature is disabled and the block applies solely to the bot account. The block is also not meant to be a punishment at all, just to prevent further edits from this account unless a good proposal is made at WP:BRFA. If that's okay with you, you may want to wait with an unblock request until there is actually a need to run the bot.
