A tag has been placed on Arrest of Betts and Gash requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Welcome to Wikipedia. The article List of Celebrities with Criminal Records has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:BLP nightmare, will never be a complete list

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. shoy (reactions) 07:02, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Michelle-Henry-Arrest.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Michelle-Henry-Arrest.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:35, 30 March 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 05:35, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Biographies of Living people[edit]

Hi, I see you're new here so I thought I'd should point out our policy dealing with biographies of living people. Because of the real-life consequences of what we write in Wikipedia, we can't make contentious claims in our articles and any assertion about a person that may be seen in a negative light should be backed up by references in reliable sources. For example, you can't create articles such as List of Celebrities with Criminal Records and then list a bunch of people without references. Even a well-referenced list on this topic would be problematic. This list has been proposed for deletion because of this reason. From now on please watch what you write about living people. Thanks, ThemFromSpace 08:30, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Valiance has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Neologism of questionable notability. Completely unsourced - no indication of widespread usage - seems like something that was made up.

If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Nikki Blonsky. However, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Wikipedia page, must include proper sources. Thank you. TheRealFennShysa (talk) 22:13, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Leo (astrology) has been reverted, as it appears to introduce incorrect information. Please do not intentionally add incorrect information to articles. All information in this encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable, published source. If you believe the information that you added was correct, please cite the references or sources or before making the changes, discuss them on the article's talk page. August 2010[edit]

On Mets-Phillies rivalry, you added information to the lead that was not supported by a reference. Since this is a good article, additions should all be reliably sourced. Thanks. — KV5Talk • 03:02, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Celebrities with Criminal Records, which you created, has been nominated for deletion, merging, or renaming. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the Categories for discussion page. Thank you. Also please note that your additions of this category to Jordin Sparks, Jennifer Coolidge and America Ferrera have been reverted per WP:BLPCAT as there is no mention of, or reference for, crimes in those articles. – ukexpat (talk) 16:32, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oakland Athletics[edit]

Please note that colors are not proper nouns, so their names in infoboxes need not be capitalized. Thanks. — KV5Talk • 13:21, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Once again, color names are not proper nouns. Please also note that the infobox lists uniform colors, not logo colors, so please desist from putting red in the Yankees' infobox. Gray is also unnecessary, as all teams wear road gray. — KV5Talk • 13:53, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

September 2010[edit]

Cap Logos for Rivalry Articles[edit]

Hi. I saw you have been changing the cap logos to the other logos for the rivalry articles. I believe there was a discussion about this in one of the archives of the Y-RS page to keep it with cap logos. All of the other rivalries have been kept that way as a result too. Thanks. Melky Cabrera[edit]

Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Melky Cabrera appears to have added premature information about a reported signing, so I removed it for now. The signing is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the signing has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. The source you added also says "Finalization of the deal hinges on Cabrera passing a physical, according to a source."—Bagumba (talk) 00:08, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Twin films, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jaws. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
