Hey Vandevort, I saw your message in the talk page of Omer Hussain regarding the inclusion of problems of Hyderabad in the article. Please calm down. This happens when you love a city and can not take some negative words about it :) This is not content dispute since the contents are adequately referenced in appropriate sections of the article. The lead does not need reference always if the comments are referenced in the article.

As for other cities, yes many cities have mentioned such problems in the body of the articles, and summarized briefly in the lead. For example, Kolkata. Of the city articles you mentioned, only Kolkata is a featured article. The article has retained featured status because it is comprehensive, and meets other FA criteria. That's what we are aiming to do in Hyderabad. Relax!--Dwaipayan (talk) 06:27, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree with you that this should be included in all city articles (where these issues are there). And once these are included in the text of the article with references, those should be summarized in the lead, too.
We did so in Kolkata article. I personally do not edit much of he other city articles. You are welcome to do the appropriate edits in any city articles, with proper references. That would indeed be greatly beneficial for all the city articles.
Some features are unique to individual cities, such as cuisine of Hyderabad, Bollywood for Mumbai etc. Alongside that, there are identical features also in cities. That does not mean identical features shouls not be mentioned in individual articles.--Dwaipayan (talk) 06:47, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is with painstaking effort the article has been copyedited by many editors. Do not make arbitrary edits that break the flow of the article. Please discuss any major edits in the talk page first. Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 06:57, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
