Speedy deletion of Open wireless architecture[edit]

Hello Vasic, this is a message from an automated bot to inform you that the page you created, Open wireless architecture, has been marked for speedy deletion by User:Malcolma. This has been done because the page is unquestionably a copyright infringement, and no assertion of permission has been made (see CSD). If you think the tag was placed in error, please add "{{hangon}}" to the page text, and edit the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. If you have a question about this bot, please ask it at User talk:SDPatrolBot II. If you have a question for the user who tagged the article, see User talk:Malcolma. Thanks, - SDPatrolBot II (talk) on behalf of Malcolma (talk · contribs) 13:44, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Open wireless architecture requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. fetch·comms 00:49, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Vasic. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:UN Symphony Orchestra, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 21:33, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • One other note. I have moved the page to draft space because, in its current condition, it would be eligible for speedy deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 21:34, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    Thank you for the message.
How can this be properly done, in order to avoid deletion? Vasic (talk) 21:53, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
One of the big requirements is to show that the orchestra has been covered in independent reliable sources. —C.Fred (talk) 22:27, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the response. Vasic (talk) 15:13, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
