When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Wikipedia:Reference desk/Mathematics, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube or Sci-Hub, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

  • If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
  • If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 23:11, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it is related. I intentionally started discussion about this article in varius places to avoid edit wars and to get view for more other users. I even reported this article for deletion. I highly doubt this article has encyclopedic valuabe at the moment and is possible to correction but I have started littly correction in my sandbox. I would considerr change title from "List of association football players considered greatest of all time" on "Association football players considered greatest of all time" and move it to draft/public-sandbox pages etc. Anyway I have question to you? I do not have techical ability to writing on English Wikipedia. Could you help me with diagram which I put in my sandbox? At the moment it is copy from this one page but I want to use it in my sandbox (Article is very poor and hard to correct due to WP:OR but I belive it can reeach to at least form like that). Cheers. Ok, Understand and thanks for reply. I am speciffically intersted in technical correction of this diagram (to reach statistics forall opinion though history as fact recentism is at this article big problem):

Pedigree Petfoods[edit]

I would recommend that you go ahead and rely on FundingUniverse.com as a source, and provide a link to it. Kudos to you for locating it.

As you note, there's very little online, and the company profile is extremely detailed. I have no evidence of any doubts about the reliability and accuracy of Funding Universe. I would assume that most of the primary source for most of their corporate histories is the literature displayed by the companies themselves. There had been inaccurate information on Wikipedia in the past that KalKan had never made dog food, and it was repeated on other sites that happened to mention dog food. There are ample magazine advertisements that can be found by Google Books that show the company's assertions. Mandsford 01:19, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Mandsford there is a list of sources at the end of the FundingUniverse.com history. It was once recommended that I find the original sources but that's so much trouble. If I follow your advice, the concern is that I'm relying too much on one source. I'm not comfortable creating the article, but I can find a way to improve the existing articles. Also, the history seems to end at 1997 and so do the sources.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 15:15, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

User:Vchimpanzee/Kal Kan Foods[edit]

  • As long as you're not doing an obvious word-for-word copy, you're staying in the acceptable range. The best thing to do in paraphrasing is to substitute synonyms for some of the words. My suggestion would be that you throw some paragraph breaks in your text-- first where it says that "Still Kal Kan lost half its market share" and then again where it says "As of 1994..." Mandsford 19:25, 23 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I knew it needed paragraph breaks. I keep thinking more should be added, and when it is, paragraphs will seem more natural. I added them where they looked appropriate anyway. Anyway, when I can find the proof I need, most of that will end up in Pedigree Petfoods.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 19:36, 23 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Jackson and BabeyPop[edit]

it is all well and good but no one is interested when it is about defending him and the Emmys have gone right down in my estimation calling Leaving Neverland non fiction and something must be done about that too. I am the missing link...I met Mike in the early eighties because my mum was friends with Pete Bests wife but I was kept secret because of political reasons, not even Mikes family etc..knew of me. It was dangerous for me to be in the public eye. This film has really got my goat up and while trying to defend Mike on After Neverland my comments were wiped and my YouTube channel, facebook, email accounts closed down but had them back after awhile with recognition that I did nothing wrong. Even after all the lies have been exposed the Emmys calls this film non fiction which is criminal. Can you help me get my story out please. Mike is innocent. Please this is criminal. Dan Reed was told by the police where he lives to give up Pedo hunting as he is illegally using methods against the law. This film caused mass IIED Intentional Infliction of Emotional distress and saw many fans go into therapy under going anti depressant treatments and we all know that Bill Gates is handling vaccines and medications to depopulate the planet. All Mikes fans deserve compensation for the distress this has caused everyone and HBO etc...closed down for good as they are nothing short of cruel criminals intentionally causing mass harm. This was used because Mike has the most fans on the planet. Oprah knew this. YouTube Oprah, Bill Gates, Soros etc...secret meetings and know what a Judas she really is. She is rubbing shoulders with mass murderers and not telling the public what she knows. Dan Reed was hunting Pedos before he targeted Mike and did this being paid to discredit Mike by his own admission by HBO, etc... also, so he can get recognition and profits for a lie. Hired Hit Man ...his own words. I was there when Wade and James were young and I know for a fact it is all lies. Mike is innocent and is an admirable heterosexual man. Go to my YouTube channel BabeyPop, subscribe to keep up with what this really is all about and my story which is in the description section as well. Share so more people get to know the truth of Michael Jackson's innocence and what is really going on with this planet that only Mike wanted to save genuinely. Mike deserves to be remembered as a hero. He is in the Guinness books of records for not only the greatest entertainer but for the best philanthropist and animal activist. He donated all of his concert taking to charity and gave to the most charities the most. This character assassination is done by the evil elite who are planning to depopulate the planet and seize all assets of the people they want to murderer as that IS what it is, murder. DEPOPULATION IS MASS MURDER AND GRAND THEFT. THERE SHOULD BE AN INTERNATIONAL LAW AGAINST DEFAMING THE DEAD AS THERE IS AN UNSPOKEN LAW OF NOT SPEAKING ILL OF THE DEAD. MICHAEL JACKSON IS INNOCENT AND THE REAL KING OF THIS PLANET NOT JUST BECAUSE OF HIS MUSIC BUT BECAUSE OF HIS PURE HEART AND REAL GOOD INTENTIONS FOR ALL. His music reflects his true soul. We Are The World. Heal The World. etc... To take things on face value is wrong and more what is wrong is to class Leaving Neverland as non fiction when all the evidence points to it being nothing but fabrication and lies. Mike received a death letter before the O2 dress rehearsals stating that if he went back on stage that all his fans at the concert, his kids and himself would be killed so the police helped him fake his death and if you YouTube Michael Jackson's 56th birthday it can be seen Mike going into the house in Gary. Pearl Jr. put together all the evidence to make sure the evidence would not be wiped away forever, calling it the Alive Trilogy. She has also made a film called Prisoner of Fame with all the evidence that she had gathered, may not all be in the film so the Trilogy is worth a view and the BabeyPop YouTube Channel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.249.143.50 (talk) 21:51, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You asked me to comment. I fear I was slow in picking up your message. My comment would be that the article is now much too long and with too much detail to show longer term trends. Currently each of the annual sections details things that created fairly short-term price movements. These may be appropriate for an annual article, but for an overview from 2003, one cannot see the "wood for the trees". I would suggest that you move the detail into a series of new articles on shorter periods and replace them with a few sections, each covering 3-5 years from (say) 2012. The periods need to be driven by where there are turning points, not to make equal sections. Peterkingiron (talk) 15:13, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea how I would do any of this. The sources naturally reflect the short term. Finding long-term trends for the older information would be next to impossible.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 19:05, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers[edit]

Damon Runyon's short story "Dancing Dan's Christmas" is a fun read if you have the time. Right from the start it extols the virtues of the hot Tom and Jerry

This hot Tom and Jerry is an old-time drink that is once used by one and all in this country to celebrate Christmas with, and in fact it is once so popular that many people think Christmas is invented only to furnish an excuse for hot Tom and Jerry, although of course this is by no means true.

No matter what concoction is your favorite to imbibe during this festive season I would like to toast you with it and to thank you for all your work here at the 'pedia this past year. Best wishes for your 2020 as well V. MarnetteD|Talk 21:52, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
