RE: Help Desk query[edit]

It is fine (and, indeed, encouraged) for you to answer questions on the help and reference desks: Wikipedia is a community of volunteers, and the poeple who respond to replies on the reference and help desks are no exception. If you feel you can answer some questions on the science reference desk, have a go and be bold!

Don't forget you should sign your posts and user pages and articles' talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~)- some users see unsigned posts as mere "spam" and may just delete your post or ignore it. Signing your posts helps to make your post more "valid" and makes it easier to reply to your questions and comments. For more help with signature preferences, see here.
