Welcome!

File:Sephiroth.gif Hello, VentrueCapital, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at Naming Conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal — and if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my talk page.
Additional tips:
Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
  • If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
  • Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
  • You might want to add yourself to the New User Log.
  • If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language.
Happy editing!

User 65.13.229.183[edit]

Hi. When leaving a message on the talk page of someone you believe is definitely a vandal (and not just mis-editing naively), count the number and tone of the messages already left, and the times at which they were left (day, month, year). If you see two 'warning' messages within, say, seven days, a further misdemeanour should bring a level 3 vandal warning. However, the User in question had a first message in November 2006, a second at the end of January 2007.

Examine the Contributions from the user. Are they blatant vandalism, a mixture of good and bad, or 'good faith' error edits? Blatant to me then means (in football referee parlance) "get 'em off the field of play as soon as you have an excuse". The User in question has an appalling record of editing.

So I would have counted one, two, and given him a stage 3 straight off, despite the timescale of his vandalism.

Hope that's clearer for you. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 15:01, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Charlene Downes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Charlene Downes is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Charlene Downes saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. P4k 08:49, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plot[edit]

When there is a full Plot section for The Mist (film), it will undoubtedly contain the spoilers along with every other aspect of the film. It's just a matter of someone who has seen it to come in and write up the Plot per WP:MOSFILMS#Plot. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 20:49, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
