Welcome!

Hello, VictoriaJusticeFan1, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as July 14, 1991, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Chzz  ►  02:35, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as July 14, 1991, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Chzz  ►  02:35, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Jerry Trainor.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Jerry Trainor.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Confession0791 talk 08:57, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Scion bbX.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Scion bbX.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:06, 25 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --Confession0791 talk 01:52, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves[edit]

Please do not move a page to a new title without a good reason. Normally, a page move needs to be discussed unless it's a clear error or violation of naming conventions. I've seen some of your previous page moves and they either lack a rationale altogether or you simply "think it's better." It doesn't work that way. --Sable232 (talk) 22:31, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

second warning on userspace links[edit]

I see you've done it again, and it's clear you saw my earlier message. If you continue to add links to your userspace inside the main Wikipedia article space, you risk being blocked. Please don't do it again. tedder (talk) 00:33, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry tedder. I just don't understnad Wikipedia just yet, so I don't really know what's right and wrong. Thanks, VictoriaJusticeFan1. VictoriaJusticeFan1 (talk) 13:28, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I assume you understand what a userspace link is? tedder (talk) 13:54, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't. VictoriaJusticeFan1 (talk) 19:31, 31 January 2011
Aha. A userspace link is one like this: [[User:VictoriaJusticeFan1/Stuck (Big Time Rush song)]]. A article space link is like this: [[Victoria Justice]]. So Victoria Justice is an article, User:VictoriaJusticeFan1/Stuck (Big Time Rush song) is not. You can read more on Wikipedia:Namespace. Let me know if you have questions. tedder (talk) 00:40, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, now I get it. Thanks tedder. VictoriaJusticeFan1 (talk) 19:42, 31 January 2011
Excellent. I hope I was able to help; stop by my talk page if you have any other questions, and start reading about article creation at Wikipedia's 5 pillars. Cheers, tedder (talk) 00:55, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Dancing Crazy (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable, fails WP:MUSIC#SONGS

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please do not remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:You're the Reason cover.jpg, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Hey there[edit]

Hey Victoria,

You removed the Afd template on the page for Count on You. While I do not by any means want to frustrate or drive you away, I see that you have made several mistakes recently regarding this same issue. And that is completely OK, as they happen! However, I strongly encourage you to read some policies here to prevent these same mistakes from happening again. You seem to understand quite well how an article should be formatted and written, and I commend you for that. Some good policies to read would be WP:N, WP:AFD, and WP:NFC. I know they are frequently long and boring, but would GREATLY improve your understanding of Wikipedia (which you don't seem to quite get yet as you mentioned, which is natural) and your already solid editing skills. MobileSnail 01:11, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please pick ONE of your user names and edit entirely under that name. Editing under other user names and/or without logging in in order to avoid scrutiny will get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please stop. - SummerPhD (talk) 01:25, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/VictoriaJusticeFan1 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. SummerPhD (talk) 04:11, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Warning on multiple accounts[edit]

Hi. Going forward, please remember that editors are generally restricted to one account. Editing from multiple accounts is not allowed and can result in you being blocked from editing. Thanks. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 23:12, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011[edit]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Count on You. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. I understand you are new to the site and things are overwhelming, but that is no excuse for ignoring warnings. Please learn from your mistakes and there should be no issue. Thanks! Nomination of Nothing Even Matters for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Nothing Even Matters is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nothing Even Matters until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 00:30, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for your efforts in trying to improve the encyclopedia - but can I offer you a little help and advice? A few of us have noticed that you seem to be having a bit of trouble in some areas, so please take this as friendly assistance...

  • You should only be editing from one account, and you should always try to be logged in when you edit - this establishes trust in an editor, and allays any suspicion that an editor might be pretending to be several people - have a read over Wikipedia:Sock puppetry. I'm quite sure you meant no harm with your User:VictoriaJusticeFan12 registration, but please just stick to this one. (Multiple accounts are allowed for certain purposes, but I'd suggest you get some more experience here before you think about exploring that.)
  • You are creating articles about songs. That's not necessarily a bad idea, but one problem is that if people wrote an article for every song on every album recorded, we'd have literally millions of articles about songs that really don't say any more than the simple track listing for the album. So the Wikipedia community has set some rules regarding which songs are eligible for their own articles, which you can see at WP:NSONGS. Bascially, a song needs to have been released as a single and to have charted, or to have received an award, or have something notable like that happen to it. The songs you have created articles about do not satisfy those rules, and will almost certainly be deleted in due course.
  • On a related subject, if an article you created is nominated for Speedy Deletion (see WP:CSD), you must not remove the deletion tag (you can contest and remove a Speedy Deletion tag from an article created by someone else if you disagree with it, but not from an article you created yourself). If you disagree with the deletion reason, what you need to do is follow the instructions in the notice, and add a {{hang on}} tag below the deletion tag and explain your reasoning on the article Talk page - Speedy Deletion is only for uncontentious deletions, so if an article has sufficient merit it should be quite easy to save it.
  • Similarly, if an article is nominated for deletion via the normal deletion process (see WP:AfD), you also must not remove the deletion proposal (in fact, for normal AfD deletions, nobody should remove it). In this case, you should again follow the instructions in the deletion notice, and go and make your comments on the linked deletion discussion page. (And if you are unsure which kind of deletion an article is up for, all you need to do is read and follow the instructions in the deletion notice - and the Speedy ones are pink).
  • If you're unsure of anything, don't be afraid to ask for help. If you place a {{help me}} notice here on your Talk page together with an explanation of what you need, someone should be along to help fairly soon. And you are always welcome to come and ask me for help any time, over on my Talk page (though I might not be quickly available, and I'm probably in a different time zone to you).

Anyway, welcome to the project again, and best wishes for your future participation -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:03, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Beggin' on Your Knees.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Beggin' on Your Knees.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. SummerPhD (talk) 02:03, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Songs[edit]

The majority of the song articles you have created have been or will be deleted. Songs that have not charted, even if they are singles, are generally not notable. Please review WP:NSONG before creating any more song articles. Thanks. - SummerPhD (talk) 02:09, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Covers[edit]

The cover art for a single is always copyrighted. You do not own the copyright of an image of that cover art simply because you have saved the image from a website, taken a screen shot or photographed the cover. If you are uploading an copyrighted image (basically, ANY image you see online or elsewhere, unless you personally photographed the person), you MUST include the source of the image and a fair use explanation. If you do not do this, the file will be deleted. Thanks. - SummerPhD (talk) 02:09, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Freak the Freak Out, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. SummerPhD (talk) 23:55, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Beggin' on Your Knees.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Beggin' on Your Knees.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. SummerPhD (talk) 14:14, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Signature song. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. SummerPhD (talk) 14:19, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Victoria Justice in Beggin' on Your Knees.jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia for multiple reasons. Please see the page to see the reasons. If the page has since been deleted, you can ask me the reasons by leaving a message on my user talk page.

If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. SummerPhD (talk) 00:07, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Beggin' on Your Knees, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. I am creating an article of that name now. So are you saying I can say that AFTER I create and save the article? -- VictoriaJusticeFan1 (talk) 15:36, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, firstly, to create such an article you would need to demonstrate how it is sufficiently notable to have its own article outside of the Till the World Ends article - and please note that most song videos are not considered sufficiently notable to have their own articles outside of the song articles. It's not an excessively long article as it stands, and I would doubt that this video is an exception - what is in the current article seems plenty sufficient to me. I'd suggest you start a discussion on the Talk page to see if there is a consensus for creating a separate article for the video -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:17, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Another block?[edit]

You are just back from being blocked for repeatedly creating articles for non-notable songs (and uploading covers for those songs without providing the required source info and fair use rationales). You return to create and article for a non-notable song and upload a cover for the song without providing the required source info and fair use rationale.

If you continue to edit as you have been, you will be blocked for progressively longer periods of time until you stop, one way or another. Either you do not care what our policies are or do not understand them. If you simply do not understand, please ask for assistance. Thanks. - SummerPhD (talk) 05:01, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

May 2011[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:46, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You've had plenty of chances, but you just won't listen - if you refuse to follow policies when they are clearly pointed out to you, and insist on repeating the same problematic behaviour, you simply don't belong here -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:49, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/VictoriaJusticeFan1 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. SummerPhD (talk) 23:28, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
