I doubt this one will ever reach FA status, as I've seen some comments in the past about it being too silly a topic to even merit inclusion in the encyclopedia (when I first saw it, it had been nominated for deletion). I agree that the layout needs work - at least a fair use or public domain picture of a pizza delivery guy on the job! BD2412 T 03:39, 24 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • That would be great if you could supply a pic. I've never been a driver, though I had a friend who was, who I rode along with once. BD2412 T 04:05, 24 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page[edit]

Hi, I am glad to have been able to help you out. It seems to me though that the user that vandalized your userpage is rather new and doesn't really seem to understand the rules and customs of wikipedia. So I'm not really sure if it was a malicious vandal, or a confused and angry newbie. Either way I have posted some comments on their talk page and I hope they will read them this time rather than just revert them again.  :) Now all we need is to make a sweet counter for userpages and have it increment everytime it gets vandalized. -- malo (talk)/(contribs) 08:48, 24 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ya, reading over his history, he's someone I warned for blanking another user's page.... looks like he was unhappy about where I posted my warning... --негіднийлють (Reply|Spam Me!*) 08:19, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sean Black RfA[edit]

Thank you very much for your support of my RfA. Thanks, in part, to you, I am now an Administrator, and I pledge to use my newfound powers for good rather than evil. Thanks again!--Sean|Black 08:11, 26 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ahoy. Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been offline for a bit. J moss was an obvious copyvio (which someone else seems to have deleted). I tagged that and Brijbrij before gaining adminship and then promptly forgot about it. As for Brijbrij, I could not find a source, but it just screams copyvio - though closer inspection makes it seem like some students' school paper, an unencyclopedic essay with a nonsense title. The article itself is not nonsense, and it is not copyvio if the student uploaded it himself. The only safe direction is AfD, which I have initiated. Thanks for the heads-up. --Jeffrey O. IIPM[edit]

As one of the revert warriors in question, I'd like to point you here where the basic points of contention are listed by me. It should be quite clear that these have remained unanswered by the other side. There is not much doubt that IIPM is a controversial institute with some highly questionable advertising claims. Lots of Mainstream newspapers have written about the controversy that erupted recently. There is no reason to privilege the institute's claims about its infrastructure, faculty etc. over the claims of its detractors, as the supporters of IIPM have been demanding. They want to move all criticism to a separate section. ---Ravikiran 08:16, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for showing your support at my current RfA. I don't read cyrillic, but at least I now know what your name means, at the very least! I wanted to thank people earlier, but I wasn't sure if it was appropriate while the RfA is still running. I finally decided to do what I think is right, regardless of normal protocol, so here is a note, to show you my appreciation for your support and comments. Anything I can ever do to help you, if I can, I will. Thanks again! Hamster Sandwich 15:12, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

IIPM Reverts[edit]

Hi,

Regarding the reverts, I think you have not got the whole idea. I am just reverting pages which have been vandalized. I maintain an NPOV in this regard. The IIPM page is constantly getting vandalized by a person (or a group of them) under the name of Drnaomchomsky. They recently changed the user name to IIPMStudent9 and continues to vandalize the pages by adding things already agreed to be of POV in nature.
My queries in the user page was answered with extremely filthy language (see for yourself).I have not broke any rules or used foul language. Kunal (username:spartiate), Ravikiran (username:Ravikiranr) and I have been constantly keeping watch on the article to maintain its NPOV nature. THE ARTICLE WE THREE OF US ARE REVERTING BACK IS THE LAST AGREED NPOV EDIT.
I have tracked the IP address of the vandalizer and it originates from New Delhi, the capital of India and a place pretty close to one of the branches of IIPM. You want details, I can give it to you. But my humble request is that I am not the person to be warned in this regard. Please keep watch on the edits of the page and you will come to know. (You may not be able to pinpoint to a single person or entity because they keep changing names or some times uses the IP address edits).
I love Wikipedia and is committed to maintain it's sanctity under any circumstance. Please go through all the edits I have made so far and you will find that I have done nothing un-wiki till now. Thanks for your comments. I again request you to keep a watch on the article for a few days and reach a conclusion

PeaSea 02:06, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Vilerage,
PLease see the IIPM article's talk page, where I had asked Konrad West to mediate as a neutral observer, because I was tired of the revert war played by these 3... Konrad has made observations thats are in keeping with Wiki policy, and he has found the allegations in the article biased, and based on personal blogs that cannot be cited. PeaSea, Ravikiran and Spartiate keep reverting edits, and they do not want to see any properly cited new information get added to the article. In fact, they only want to see negative info go on IIPM's Wiki.
Hope you review Konrads comment on the IIPM talk page and review the article - would appreciate you input.

warning of 67.20.91.90[edit]

I noticed that you warned 67.20.91.90 (talk · contribs) for vandalism. However, after checking this user's edits, I noticed that he/she wasn't trying to vandalize. As a matter of fact, this user was trying to clean up the penis images (from the George W. Bush article) that someone else added. Hovever, this user appears to be pretty new to Wikipedia, so he/she might not have known how to revert a page properly. --Ixfd64 04:55, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

supreme court revert[edit]

why the revert?

i moved the judges to a list because wikipedia isn't a list site, and the list could well be linked to elsewhere.

it also cleans up the page and shows just how much more work needs to be done on the article; i was just about to place a {{Law-stub}} tag in there... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yoasif (talkcontribs)

Peruvianllama's RfA[edit]

Vilerage, you are a RfA machine! Just look at all those thank-you's above!

Regarding my own potential RfA, I've made my final decision, to politely decline the nomination at this point. I am concerned that other users would make the (legitimate) complaint that I have not yet seen enough "serious" activity on the wiki, since the vast majority of my edits have been since mid-September. If you still think I merit such a gesture, I would be thrilled with the possibility of accepting another nomination in the new year. Hi Vilerage,

VfD isn't about just amassing a 50% or more votes for certain decisions, it's more of getting the community to come to a rough consensus. In this case, delete votes make up 65%, and I've seen cases where 75% are closed as 'no consensus'. I also see that a few suggesting to projectify this page, which means the page may be heading for a encyclopedic direction.

Let me know if you need any further clarifications. :)

Sometimes I really wish WP had a more private way of communicating with other users, in addition to the public method. Would certaintly keep people from following one around. David, because of WP:AGF I'm going to assume you had the best of intentions in replying to my message, but, in all honesty, I didn't leave it for you. And before someone mentions that there's an e-mail this user link, note that I *do* have it in my sig, and like a lot of users, the account it goes to, gets checked very very rarely due to spam. Anyhow, I'm not interested in this article anymore, it's obvious to me that nothing positive will come from persuing this, even if things went down a little shadily. I just wanna get back to vandal-whacking, and keep away from the scientology-related corners of the WP from now on (with the exception of reverting vandalism). --негіднийлють (Reply|Spam Me!*|RfS) 18:50, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

To tell the truth, it's the first RFC I've had any real involvement in, too, so I don't know where to add it either! My own feeling is your evidence isn't needed at this point: freestylefrappe has clearly indicated, in his discussions with SCZenz, that that was how he felt about handling things he deemed vandalism.
