Hi there, re: some of the back-and-forth going on at List of Punjabi films of 2019, I don't know what specific rationale SangrurUser had for removing the content about Gangster vs. State, but I probably would have removed the content on the basis that there's no proof that principal photography (aka filming) has begun yet. A lot of films are announced as upcoming projects, but in lists such as these and in actor filmographies and elsewhere, we typically don't include films that have not yet begun filming, because there's a high potential that these announced films will never be produced, and our lists will become cluttered up with dead projects. This is an extension of our notability criterion for film articles, WP:NFF, which reads:

"Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles, as budget issues, scripting issues and casting issues can interfere with a project well ahead of its intended filming date. The assumption should also not be made that because a film is likely to be a high-profile release it will be immune to setbacks—there is no "sure thing" production. Until the start of principal photography, information on the film might be included in articles about its subject material, if available. Sources must be used to confirm the start of principal photography after shooting has begun."

So if it's too early to create an article, it's probably too early to add the film to these other lists. Hope that helps. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:44, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sangrur user created new user just to delete gangster vs state Because he owns punjabipollywood.com and force every producer in Punjab to pay him fees to get listed on his website and wikipedia You all can check that he only written punjabi movies and songs articles and endorse his website

How could you say I own punjabipollywood website I have created lot of articles buti have never used website as reference or external link even if you are talking about the reference which was in this article, i didn’t added even i don’t consider website as reliable because it has couple of false box office report. Bit if you are talking about notablity of your film by saying its song has been viewed over 300k times then have you checked other films, their songs have views in millions. Please read WP:NFF for further information. If you want to the film in remain in list i would suggest you to create article on film or director or lead actor. Vishal, don't levy unfounded accusations against other editors. Comment on content, not on the contributor. If you have a legitimate concern that SangrurUser has a conflict of interest, then bring some evidence. Additionally, I certainly don't think your rant above was an appropriate response to my explanation, which I thought was fairly friendly and explained the matter from the Wikipedia community's perspective. If you are still confused, let me know what you find confusing so I can answer it. So far this seems to be a case of "when you can prove the film has begun shooting, you can add it back".
