Unspecified source for Image:Wonderland.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Wonderland.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 17:43, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please can you not put article's up for deletion without the owner's consent first

Definite Keep: I have enclosed information by a letter from Madhavan about his projecrs.

  • HIYA FOLKS ...HAVE BEEN READING A LOT OF YOUR MESSAGES AND COMPLAINTS AND IT

HAS BEEN A GREAT INSIGHT INTO WHAT YOU FOLKS THINK OF HOW I AM DOING MY JOB . AND FOR THAT THANKS A TON. ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT I HAVE (FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS) BEEEN TRYING TO BUILD A BRAND EQUITY. AND BY THAT I MEAN THAT I HAVE TRIED TO FINISH ALL MY FILMS WITHIN A GIVEN TIME AND BUDGET SO THAT NONE OF MY FILM ARE A FINANCIAL LOSS..THEY MAY NOT HAVE SET THE BOX OFFICE ON FIRE BUT NONE OF THEM HAVE ACTULLY BEEN A FINANCIAL LOSS LEAVE ALONE A DISASTER.

NOW THAT WAS THE IMPORTANT CATCH LINE. THE REASON I COULD NOT AND WOULD NOT DO MOVIES WITH ANY OF THE DIRECTORS YOU FOLKS HAVE IN MIND IS THAT NONE OF THEM ADHERE TO THIS NORM OF FINISHING THE FILM ON TIME AND BUDGET.

I WAS DOING THIS, AS I SAID, TO BUILD A BRAND EQUITY..FOR THE CORPORATE COMPANIES THAT I KNEW WERE COMING INTO FILM PRODUCTION IN THE SOUTH AND THE THEN EXISTING METHOD OF FILM PRODUCTION WOULD BE TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE TO THEM. ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT IT HAS PAID OFF FILMS IN HAND

  • Can you read it gives good proof!!! Clcik on the link, it redirects you to Madhavan's fan club post which he is a part of. Also inform him by his email. Do not tell me when I am making facts up. You are a newbie without even an user page, how dare you speak like that to an experienced Wikipedian. Please do not create trouble! Prince Godfather 18:06, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aaval. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. Vandalism[edit]

Adding npov tags without providing a justification on the discussion page is considered vandalism. Please do not do that again. --Yamla 15:06, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, removing the AfD tags from Dhoom 4 is blatant vandalism. --Yamla 15:08, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Hrithik Roshan.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hrithik Roshan.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Image:Zackangeal.PNG[edit]

I have tagged Image:Zackangeal.PNG as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. Image source problem with Image:Crisiscoreartwork.PNG[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Crisiscoreartwork.PNG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:46, 9 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rossrs (talk) 11:46, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Vlcsnap-597738.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Vlcsnap-597738.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:05, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ivanović–Janković rivalry has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not a notable rivalry. Jankovic has never been nr1 or won a slam. So, this is just a head-to-head page. Fails the guidelines of WP:TENNIS. Many similar rivalry articles have been deleted recently.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
