Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, thanks, and we hope that you will like Wikipedia. --Ashenai 19:46, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spellings - greetings you should know there's nothing wrong with the spellings you've attempted to 'correct' they're just examples of British English. Netscott 00:51, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

When you REPEATEDLY make these sorts of edits editors like myself are inclined to revert first and ask questions later. You've already been informed of this previously. The next step will likely be referral for a block. Netscott 00:55, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you honestly believe that then by all means go ahead and make that same edit again... it'll be my pleasure to see you blocked shortly afterwards. Netscott 01:00, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To be truthfully honest, I'd like to see cooperation on your part in agreement with the general consensus on the display of those images. But if you insist on making ridiculous and vandalistic edits then yes I would be happy to see you blocked. Netscott 01:06, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's a rather asinine comment... no one's forcing you to go to that article and besides you can turn off your browser's display of the images or use the technique specified here. Stop wasting our time. Netscott 01:10, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No one's being forced... like I said feel free to make such an edit... in the end it'll probably just save us some time in the long run. Netscott 01:15, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You know what, I'm calmly contemplating going ahead and making a report over at WP:AN and just illustrate the several vandalistic edits of this nature you've already made. I'm sure there'll be an admin or two who'd take interest in that. Netscott 01:19, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings User:Vkasdg, please be aware of Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard#User:Vkasdg. Netscott 01:56, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your deceptive edits do a greater injustice if you do them in the name of honorable muslims. Hopefully we'll be able to change your block log to better correspond to the character you've already repeatedly demonstrated. Netscott 02:10, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Figures. >_> Netscott 22:26, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Of course you realize this account is dead now right? Netscott 22:27, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You have been blocked from removing the image and the warning from Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy. If you perform such an action against consensus again, your block will be increased. User:Zoe|(talk) 23:04, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Based upon your edit history, I have changed my block to indefinite. I am surprised nobody has blocked you before this. User:Zoe|(talk) 23:09, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely hilarious[edit]

I find it absolutely hilarious Netscott is labeling anyone and everyone who happens to disagree with him about the cartoons in Cartoon Riots articles as a sockpuppet of mine. Get a grip of yourself. He's labelled 3 or 4 people like this already. Vkasdg 04:53, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why have you gone back to disruptive editing when you said you were going to try and help improve Wikipedia on User:Essjay's talk page? Why don't you spend more time studying and less time trying to 'rile' people up with your nonsense? Netscott 04:59, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please, provide proof before you make your accusations. Whatever I said on user Essjay's page, I've kept my word so far, so don't accuse others when you can't back it up. You've accused several people, like user Nausate (or something like that) of being me. There are other people who hold the same opinion as me regarding the cartoons in the article, so I respectfully ask you to stop accusing other editors of being me, unless you've brought proof to the table (other than them making similar edits to mine). Vkasdg 05:02, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually...I'll admit I had just a little fun with asinine. :) Vkasdg 05:03, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Really, how can you waste so much time vandalizing when you could be studying the topics covered in your British University courses? Netscott 05:10, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
First you say I go to NYU...then you say I live in Britain. Make up your mind. Like I said, I'm not vandalizing anymore, and unless you can prove otherwise, you should "assume good faith" and all that stuff. Thanks. Vkasdg 05:13, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, you actually go here and Blueyonder.co.uk is your home ISP. And I will not assume good faith when dealing with an individual who personally attacks me and constantly edits disruptively with numerous sockpuppets. You and perhaps one other individual are the only ones removing the images on Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy through the use of open proxies and sock puppets and the disruptive edits of late are just a continuation of this pattern. You have no credibility particularly when you lied and attempted to impersonate me as ScottRR. Netscott 05:20, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, So where did the NYU edits come from? Haven't you ever noticed, btw, that I tend to use American spellings? Believe what you want Netscott, just because you're not aware of my good edits doesn't mean that they're not there. ScottRR was never an impersonation of you. :) Vkasdg 05:23, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
LMAO!!!! That's assuming your logic is correct in saying that I go to the University of Birmingham. There's no point in arguing this with you...suspicion has gotten the best of you. Vkasdg 05:27, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
One last little note... don't blank this page. It'll be edit protected if you do. Also if you continue to edit disruptively more serious steps will be taken that may affect you a bit more personally. Netscott 05:30, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm crying in fear. You should get the admins (or yourself) to write a few letters to the University of Birmingham or NYU to end all of that vandalizing. :) Vkasdg 05:32, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

From User 128.122.253.229's page[edit]

"The current individual editing from this IP is the same abuser better know as User:Vkasdg who has vandalized as well from the NYU.edu IPs 216.165.12.100 216.165.12.101, 216.165.12.102 and 128.122.253.196 among other sockpuppets and zombie/open proxy addresses. Netscott 21:10, 1 May 2006 (UTC)"

So now I'm from NYU again? lmao. Vkasdg 01:56, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You know your actions really are asinine. You're even having a negative impact on those who are in support of your position. Stop wasting everyone's time and do like you said you would and be more beneficial to Wikipedia. Netscott 03:33, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Let's say I had a good account - would I show it to you (or let you know its name)? No, you would probably have it banned even though I've done nothing wrong with it, because you believe that I continue to make disruptive edits via user IP's. There's really nothing I can do. Do you understand my position? And stop using "asinine" in every one of your sentences. Vkasdg 05:05, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
When you stop lying, I'll refrain from using the word asinine to describe your disruptive editings. Netscott 05:07, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you continue to make assumptions, I can't do anything about your opinion nor the actions of other users. Vkasdg 05:08, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
YOU ARE A LIAR! :-) Make that clear.... the whole ScottRR story perfectly illustrated this truth. Netscott 05:11, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So I'm a liar...yet you say "when you stop lying..." How will you know when I stop lying if you can't trust my word?
Alright. You can continue to accuse everyone that vandalizes that article to be me. It's pretty funny to be honest. Vkasdg 05:14, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Welp, I've already said that you were likely one of two editors who are editing disruptively relative to the images on that article. There may be others who do drive by image altering... so when I say you and one other individual I'm speaking in the general long term sense. I'm sure that I find it equally funny to see your nonsense get shut down time and time again. ;-) Netscott 05:17, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're not speaking in the general long term sense. It's hard to find a user that has removed the images from that article who you haven't accused of being me. Considering the amount of people that the cartoons offend, they will continue to be removed by editors. And make up your mind about whether I live in the states or Great Britain. Vkasdg 05:22, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There are occasional edits that appear to come from an African ISP (I'm guessing in the north). While it's entirely possible that it's just you editing from a proxy found on that ISP, the pattern demonstrated in those edits doesn't exactly fit your M.O.. You are wily though with your edits coming from Novi Sad, The University of Birmingham, and New York University. It is surprising though how much you are like User:Raphael1 in your obsession with altering the display characteristics (essentially vandalizing) of the cartoons. Raphael1 though seems to have a singleness of purpose while you spread the love making positive contributions but also vandalizing Donald Rumsfeld (can't say that I blame you too much on Rumsfeld though). Netscott 05:30, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't be surprised if you started telling Raphael1 that he was a puppet of mine too. Would you care to explain how I manage to "vandalise" from two universities, as well as a territory in Serbia? If you cared to look deep enough you would find that the NYU IP's used today trace to a computer lab that has about 300-400 computers, i.e. the person who vandalized the Jyllands-Posten thing probably isn't the same person who vandalised Donald Rumsfeld. Vkasdg 05:38, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Why do you continue to lie? You know perfectly well that it was you who vandalized from NYU's IPs in the past 24 hours. Netscott 05:42, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, and tomorrow I'll be sure to take a few plane trips to vandalize from the University of Birmingham and Serbia as well. Vkasdg 05:45, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Your logic is perfectly idiotic. Have you forgotten this little something already? As though you didn't know how to utlize open proxies. Get a clue! Netscott 05:47, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If they were open proxies, you would see the IP's in several places in a google search. You don't. Vkasdg 05:49, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • The point is that using a closed proxy is just as easy as an open one... so your jump on a plane logic isn't getting you anywhere and just illustrates how perfectly inane your attempt at it was. Netscott 05:51, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Closed proxies being maintained at universities? Hilarious. How would anyone configure the port forwarding for a proxy to work on a university computer when students don't have access to such settings? Vkasdg 05:53, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What, you don't think I'm not aware of how it's possible to edit from other places without a proxy? Seriously quit while you're ahead... because with each lie you tell the hole dug by your repeated demonstrations of a lack of morals gets deeper and deeper. Netscott 05:57, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Any sort of remote-administrator programs would still require port forwarding. To prove my "lack of morals" you would need to prove that I'm using all of these IP addresses. Vkasdg 06:01, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You must really think I'm ignorant when it comes to using computers remotely on the internet. I've already proven your lack of morals with the exposure of some of your numerous socks as well as your two attempts at impersonating me... both as Netscott (cyrillic c) and ScottRR. Here's a quick lesson in logic about why Wikipedia doesn't insult muslims by displaying the cartoons: Let's say that I were to tell Raphael1 that you were a complete jerk who wasted his time (and others) by constantly vandalizing the display of the Jyllands-Posten cartoons on the article. So then Raphael1 goes and tells Resid Gulerdem that I said you were a jerk. Resid Gulerdem subsequently comes to you and says that he's heard that I called you a jerk. Has User:Rgulerdem insulted you? Clearly not. This same logic applies to Wikipedia does it not? Netscott 06:11, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"You must really think I'm ignorant when it comes to using computers remotely on the internet." Yes, I do, because you seem to disagree. And stop calling me an asshole, asshole. Vkasdg 06:33, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've not called you anything. This is actually a bit humorous because it is with the same reasoning that you think that I've called you an jerk that you think the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad drawings shouldn't be displayed, which is false. In your response here you've not really made sense, you seem to disagree... with what? Netscott 06:46, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps you're a descendant? Netscott 06:51, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Why did you link jerk to asshole? "You seem to disagree" with the information I presented regarding port forwarding. I wish I could get an admin in here because you're breaking the rules from Do not insult the awesome vandals and Do not feed the hungry trolls. Vkasdg 06:56, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • One word is as good as another when one is discussing hypotheticals (which is why you've not been called anything). As far as port forwarding... in a false effort to strengthen your argument you're purposely trying to limit the debate for the possibilities for control of a remote computer (or appearance thereof). There are numerous ways in which one can either appear to be utilizing or in fact be utilizing a remote computer to do work (or vandalizing) on the internet and proxy utilization/port forwarding are amongst the simplest means to do so. Netscott 07:04, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You've not responded to my question at the end of my logic lesson. Netscott 07:11, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
