Welcome, Vogel ant789, to the WikiProject Germany! Please direct any questions about the project to its talk page. If you create new articles on Germany-related topics, please list them at our announcement page and tag their talk page with our project template {{WikiProject Germany}}. A few features that you might find helpful:

  • The project's Navigation box points to most of the pages in the project that might be of use to you.
  • Most of the important discussions related to the project take place on the project's main talk page; you may find it useful to watchlist it.
  • We've developed a number of guidelines for names, titles, and other things to standardize our articles and make interlinking easier that you may find useful.

Here are some tasks you can do. Please remove completed tasks from the list.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me or any of the more experienced members of the project, and we'll be very happy to help you. Again, welcome, and thank you for joining this project! Some of the listed articles may be a bit dated, but the list still offers a good overview about possible activities for article improvement. Bibliography[edit]

Dear Vogel ant789: Your page is coming along nicely. As you start to polish it up a bit in the next few weeks, try to fix the references so each one is only listed once in the reference list on the bottom. Have a nice weekend.Dbzam (talk) 19:47, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Helping your peers Vogel ant789[edit]

Hello, I enjoyed your article! I thought I might leave a few additional comments:

  • There might be a little too much detail. For example, while I find it interesting that "Attempts to elucidate the amino acid sequence with techniques such as Edman degradation, mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy did not give distinct results", it might not be information that should be included in an encylcopedia.
  • I noticed you used primary sources. This might be a function of the topic having few review articles. During my research, I came across a book, "Binding, Transport and Storage of Metal Ions in Biological Cells", to which we have electronic access to as students. There is a bit of information on LMWCr and perhaps you can use it as a secondary source as well.
  • I came across this patent (US 20130330422) that has some information you might find interesting, but I am not sure on the wikipedia guidelines for citing patents.
  • I especially liked the section about regarding the controversy and thought it was a good way to talk about the current state of research.
