June 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm TheImaCow. I noticed that you recently removed content from List of Kashmiri Hindus without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. TheImaCow (talk) 07:23, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm S0091. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Research and Analysis Wing, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. S0091 (talk) 19:28, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at CIA activities in Pakistan, you may be blocked from editing. 17jiangz1 (talk) 20:34, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at 2016–2018 India–Pakistan border skirmishes. Disambiguation link notification for June 15[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Research and Analysis Wing, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page BND (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:26, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

June 2020[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Khalistan Zindabad Force ‎ while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. GSS💬 17:04, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you blank out or remove content from Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Border Security Force. Materialscientist (talk) 06:27, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

China-India skirmish edit[edit]

Please revert your edit here [1]. Its miss-representing the Asian News International report on Chinese casualties which states 43 soldiers were killed AND injured. Not just killed. EkoGraf (talk) 18:26, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please revert this edit as well [2]. 4 Indian soldiers were injured in the Pangong Tso incident on the 10th, while 72 were injured in the separate Sikkim incident. That's a total of 76 injured that day. EkoGraf (talk) 19:00, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The source for the 72 injured is right there in the infobox and there is one in the article itself as well. Here, I will link them [3][4]. Also, again, please reinsert into the infobox the fact that 43 is both "killed and injured" and not just "killed". Thanks! EkoGraf (talk) 19:07, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2020 China–India skirmishes. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. As soon as EkoGraf pointed out some of the mistakes you did at the article you should've gone through WP:NPOV, WP:RS, WP:MOS rather than edit warring in the article. Your recent edit here is nothing but a continuation of the above attempted disruptive edits. Please refrain from such editing behaviour. Drat8sub (talk) 07:38, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! regentspark (comment) 00:54, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Editing issues[edit]

Hello. I took a look at your edits and notice that you both remove sourced information as well as add unsourced information. And, you neither use article talk pages nor your own user talk page when other editors post here. This is not promising. Please note that there are discretionary sanctions in effect on all India/Pakistan articles (I'm posting the formal notice below). --regentspark (comment) 01:11, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  regentspark (comment) 12:16, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Voortrekker. You've been blocked because you're repeatedly removing sourced content and are not communicating on talk pages (not even through edit summaries). Please rethink your editing style once this block ends. --regentspark (comment) 12:18, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Voortrekker70, while the edit summary is a good start, I highly suggest starting a discussion on the article's talk page as the changes you are suggesting may be controversial. Content decisions on Wikipedia are made by consensus. You may also want to read WP:TP for guidance on using talk pages. S0091 (talk) 22:50, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

June 2020[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Chittisinghpura massacre. There is no consensus about the perpetrators of the Chittisinghpura massacre. Read Talk and stop POV pushing.kashmīrī TALK 09:40, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have no right to bully an amateur editor. It's a clear fact that Chittsinghpura massacre was committed by globally designated terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Voortrekker70 (talk) 09:50, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is based on sources and not on any editor's "clear facts". The available sources disagree as regards the perpetrators. Please do not push your version into an article that is edited and discussed by a lot of editors.
Also, for a new editor with a relatively low edit count you've collected an incredible number of warnings and a block. Doesn't it makes you wonder about your editing? — kashmīrī TALK 09:56, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There are multiple citations and references given itself in the article about Lashkar-e-Taiba being the perpetrator of this attack. I am not pushing "my own version". Most of the warning are based on small and minute mistakes, and on me not writing the what part of article has been edited by me. 90% of my edition is based on wikipedia verified citations and references. Your bulling tactics goes against the rules of wikipedia. Your own talk page is filled with multiple allegations. Voortrekker70 (talk) 10:15, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Several sources independent from the Indian Government, including the ones who interviewed the massacre survivor, do question the official Indian narrative. This is a global encyclopaedia, not a mouthpiece of the Research and Analysis Wing. — kashmīrī TALK 10:24, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Pilgrimage places in India, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. — kashmīrī TALK 10:39, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What has Reaserch and Analysis wing to do with a terrorist attack by Pakistan based Islamic terrorist organization. I know your are verified Anti-Indian bot. You digging up my old edits is clear example of your bullying tactics. You should not misuse your position. You don't have any logical argument to back up the claim that perpetrators of this attack were not LeT terrorists, so you have gone down to troll me. Unsourced content in biographies - last warning[edit]

Re: this, you don't get to decide what ethnicity or caste/community someone belongs to. That content must be self-identified and properly sourced. You have a wall of warnings on your talk page about problematic editing, and this is yet another problem. Don't add content unless you provide a source. If you add any more unsourced or poorly sourced content, especially as it pertains to the very sensitive area of Indian ethnic backgrounds and castes, you will have your editing privileges interrupted.
