Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Practical Approximation Algorithms Library (PAAL), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://paal.mimuw.edu.pl/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) The text is copy pasted from the page which is in public domain under http://www.boost.org/LICENSE_1_0.txt. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vwygos (talkcontribs)
Hello, Vwygos. I'm afraid that the license is not a release into public domain; it is specifically a copyleft license, setting terms and restrictions on reuse of the content. One of those terms is that the license statement must be included, in its entirety. It also specifically licenses the content for this purpose:

Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person or organization obtaining a copy of the software and accompanying documentation covered by this license (the "Software") to use, reproduce, display, distribute, execute, and transmit the Software, and to prepare derivative works of the Software, and to permit third-parties to whom the Software is furnished to do so, all subject to the following....

It does not mention the right to use, reproduce, display, distribute, execute and transmit documentation separate from the software, and it doesn't mention permitting modification of said documentation.
For what it's worth, GNU compares Boost to its GPL license and notes here that GPL is incompatible with CC-By-SA.
Accordingly, I'm afraid that the article has had to be deleted. You are very welcome to rewrite it in your own language, but I would advise you in addition to using your own language to add reliable sources that are not primary. Articles on Wikipedia indicate the notability (and hence the purpose for inclusion) by reference to third party sources. See WP:ORG and WP:GNG for more on that. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:30, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Moonriddengirl Only part of the aricle was copy pasted. I'd like to remove this part and maybe replace it. Is it possible to restore the previous page? AFAIK I do not have appropriate permission.
