Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:VyruzBeatz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... all the information that was provided is verifiable & credible. It is the page of a Music Producer that is working professionally with other musicians that are of celebrity status. --VyruzBeatz (talk) 20:18, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

We do not welcome promotional editing[edit]

Many people think they can write about themselves or their client on Wikipedia, but this is usually never successful. Chris Troutman (talk) 00:33, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Is it anyway I can get it reversed and have an official page setup? I was reading on here that someone needs to write it other than the person it's about. All the information and sources were cited correctly. VyruzBeatz (talk) 01:05, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There is no "official page setup". Our volunteers choose to write about whom they will. Our rules on the notability of musicians does not include who you claim you worked with, so without a claim of notability there cannot be a standalone article about you no matter who writes it. If you want, post a request at WP:RB and perhaps someone will help you. Chris Troutman (talk) 22:34, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
How is it a "claim" if there's links cited to the work presented? Also, thank you. Will do. VyruzBeatz (talk) 22:40, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. FASTILY 22:50, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

this account was not created to promote or advertise in any way, shape, or form. Vyruz (VyruzBeatz) have already worked with notable celebrities before and will in the future. The edits that were made was to make sure everything was 100% correct and true about Vyruz. If this was the wrong way to get it done, my apologies. VyruzBeatz (talk) 23:06, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

If you are not VyruzBeatz, you cannot use his name as your username and will need to propose a new one as instructed. Please read WP:PROMO, WP:COI, and WP:PAID. Also note that notability is not inherited by association. You don't describe the edits you will make if unblocked now that you know you, in the short term, will not be permitted to edit about this musician. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:16, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hello 331dot, once again this was not a paid nor advertising article. This is Vyruz speaking by the way. I would not give anybody control over something I deem precious without my consent. Also, don’t you guys forbid it when others write about themselves? I monitored every exchange the whole step of the way as I’m the one who’s account it’s for. What will happen once I’m producing for even more musicians and gaining even more notability? VyruzBeatz (talk) 11:31, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Have you been the only one operating this account? Accounts are strictly single person use only(do not yet create an account of your own). It is not absolutely forbidden to write about yourself, but it is highly discouraged. Please read WP:AUTO. It's usually very difficult for people to set aside what they know about themselves and summarize what independent reliable sources say about them. The best indicator of notability is when independent editors take note of the coverage of your career in independent sources and choose on their own to write about you. My suggestion is that you go on with your career and allow that to occur. Your consent is not required for there to be an article about you. 331dot (talk) 15:18, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I helped create it and gave them all the details that was needed. I did do my research before hand that’s why I made sure to carefully provide accurate details. Trust me I don’t even like for people to know I make music sometimes but at this stage of my career and where it’s headed, it’s inevitable. If the page cannot be published or unblocked, is there anyway I can retrieve what I’ve lost information wise? I’m only asking because it took me hours to get everything perfect. VyruzBeatz (talk) 15:45, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have emailed it to you. 331dot (talk) 18:17, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Got it! Thanks! VyruzBeatz (talk) 18:27, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
