One more thing. I've used a tool called a redirect which is really useful. It automatically points people to the article you want them to read, even if you've named your article slightly differently. This way, only one version of the article needs to remain on the server--all the other names for the article are instant pointers to it. It is very difficult to maintain multiple versions of the same article, so we use redirects to keep all the edits in one place. Welcome again, and happy editing. Saad Sami Haddad[edit]

There are several things wrong with this article. First, it may not meet wikipedia Notablity criteria for Biographies. You need to explain why he is notably, in an unbiased (NPOV) way. Since he is your father, many editors may see a Conflict of Interest. To establish notability, you should try to cite a variety of sources, including secondary sources. Finally, the article needs some general cleanup, such as section headings and interwiki links. You can read more about that on the Manual of Stly found here. You will notice I also tagged this article as "linkless". The "linkless" tag is common for new articles and is usually added eventually by an automated system. You should see the "move" tab up on top, just to the right of "edit". In any case, I moved the page for you. It looks pretty good.. but I think english links might be better, since this is the English wikipedia. One other thing, when you post comments, you can sign your name using four tildas like this ~~~~ and your name and the time will automatically be generated. As I state in my nomination and you were notified above by Danski14 at 23:32, 3 February 2007, you must make the article meet WP:BIO. Wikipedia is neither a primary source nor a secondary source. It is a tertiary source. As such, it has the responsibility to note that various secondary sources have cited primary sources as important. Unfortunately, your grandfather's notability is not heritable. You must cite (secondary) reviews of your fathers (primary) books in this tertiary resource to establish notabiltiy as an author. I got a chance to look at the deletion discussion. The problem is that the deletions were based on wikipedia policy and the appeals to keep were more emotional. None of them contested the failure of the policies that were pointed out. Instead, they said he is important because I thinks so (sort of). My own bio was AfDed and I believe myself to be one of the nations most prominent martial artists. I know how it goes. TonyTheTiger 20:24, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Sihaddad.jpg[edit]

Use of logo[edit]
