Hi WELDwiki

Can I strongly recommend that you move your article to the main user space. it has been in place long enough for it to be opened to editing by all, which is the purpose of Wikipedia. DJ Clayworth (talk) 14:10, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}The page is now public, but I can't seem to get the warnings attached to the photos regarding copyright to come off. I have now attached copyright information and don't want the page / photos to be inadvertently deleted. Any ideas?

It says on the warning, "Please remove this template if source information is provided." Now that you've added copyright information, you can remove the tag by removing the line that says {{di-no source|date=8 March 2010}} from each file page. Please let me know if there are any more questions. Thanks! --Mysdaao talk 14:54, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problems[edit]

Hi. I am trying to catch up the e-mail permission queue (please don't refer to me by any name here but Moonriddengirl; anonymity has good function sometimes on Wikipedia), and I have processed several permission letters from you. Two of them need additional action; with one, I have written the copyright holder and cc'ed you. With the other, we request that you follow up with the copyright holder yourself. I also did not find a letter from Trish Morgan for File:09-Bridge-Walk-tMo-41.jpg. If you sent one, it may have been lost. It's currently tagged for lack of verification of permission. If you send a letter, please let me now, and I will try to intercept it in the system so it isn't another week or more before somebody gets to it.

When you upload images, please identify the following in keeping with Wikipedia:Image use policy:

Description: The subject of the image
Source/Author The copyright holder of the image or URL of the web page the image came from and the name of the image creator, if different from the copyright holder
Date: Date the image was created. The more exact, the better
Location: Where the image was created. The more exact the better
Permission: Who or what law or policy gives permission to post on Wikipedia with the selected image copyright tag. If you have permission from the copyright holder, you should place {{subst:OTRS pending}} (curly brackets and all) here and then send your release letter to the Wikimedia Foundation. If permission is given at the original site of publication, a link here would be sufficient. This step is particularly important, as it can keep images from being prematurely deleted.

Thank you. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:32, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It appears I've received back e-mails saying all permissions have been Ok'd, but if not let me know. Thx.WELDwiki (talk) 23:15, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Who are you[edit]

I notice that you have been almost solely concerned with editing ACE Adventure Resort. The article has steered very close to being advertising at times, but nobody seems to have objected. Now I notice that the ACE Adventure webpages are copyrighted by something called WELD. This leads to believe that you are a representitive of ACE Adventure resorts, or their agents. In this case editing the article would be forbidden. Please explain whether or not you represent this organisation. DJ Clayworth (talk) 19:50, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't represent ACE; my ex-boyfriend was a raft guide at ACE for a summer and it's a blast. I'm not working right now and wanted to write something to use as a reference for job interviews. One of my friends works at WELD, which does represent ACE, and I used their company name because we were hanging out while I was creating a log-in and it sounded good. I'd appreciate any suggestions on making the entry seem less like advertising.WELDwiki (talk) 23:15, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a few moments to create a new account with a username that represents only you. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may ask for a review of this username block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this message. Thank you.

Eh, I created a new user name so it wouldn't be an issue. WELDwiki (talk) 02:16, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
