Your contribution to Pocahontas (character)

[edit]

I reverted it and I wanted to tell you why.

  • You added information to the lead section that did not appear in the body of the article. The lead section is a summary of the important points of an article so that content was misplaced. Please take a look at MOS:LEAD. Perhaps your content can be added elsewhere in the main body of the article.
  • You repeated a reference.

I explained some of this in an edit summary but because of the pending changes protection, my original reversion with the explanation didn't stick. I didn't want you to think that your efforts weren't appreciated, they were just slightly mangled. Also, one section broke the appearance of the article because a paragraph was unnecessarily indented. You can always hit the Preview button to check your work here on Wikipedia before you hit Save.
