Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a dictionary. We cannot accept articles that are little more than definitions of words or abbreviations as entries. A good article should begin with a good definition, but expand on the subject. You might try creating a definition for this instead at Wiktionary, which is a dictionary. Please only do so if it meets that sister project's criteria for inclusion. These require among others, attestation for the word or phrase, as verified through clear widespread use, or its use in permanently recorded media, conveying meaning, in at least three independent instances spanning at least a year.

Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Dissco[edit]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Dissco requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.dissco.eu/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Thank you for declaring your conflict of interest. That doesn't mean you can write what you like, you must follow the guidance below:

you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:

significant coverage in
independent,
multiple,
reliable,
secondary sources.

Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability. Note that we need real facts, such as numbers of staff and financials rather than visions, unsourced claims spam links in the text. I note that you don't have a single wikilink in your text.

You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

I note that you have withdrawn your COI declaration, so that means you can be blocked as an undeclared paid editor at any time if you attempt to write on this topic
On the copyright issue, it's not enough for you to have permission to use the text, the copied page must be marked as Public domain so any one can use it.
In your new version, there are no in-line references and the bare urls at the bottom include dead links and articles, including those written by you, that are not independent third-party sources. Without in-line references, we can't verify anything you claim
The text is full of external links, see above
Having a website and a blog doesn't establish notability, and there is no mention of, say, offices, staff, funding or expenditure.

Dear Jim,

I have withdrawn the COI declaration because it does not make sense if the topic does not exist. It would be nice to have the topic about DiSSCo on Wikipedia but it is not a must, so I will leave it for now, it is too much trouble. There are 600 people involved with the infrastructure the topic was about, and there are plenty of people who could write it that do not have a COI.
On the copyright issue, I wrote my own text in the new version and did not copy anything AFAIK, but I will discuss if the website can have a CC0 (public domain) statement. DiSSCo is always promoting CC0 for the data, so I think it would be no problem for the website either.
in-line references to independent third-party sources could have been added easily, I thought it would be enough to add external links to independent third-party sources like ESFRI or the European Commission. I should probably have taken more time to read the guidance but my time is limited and I am not paid for this.
the website does mention the current funding in the footer of every page (together with an ID, so it is verifiable, see https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/871043) together with the contact address and does mention office and staff on the https://www.dissco.eu/about-us/ page, that should be enough for notability.
