WikiProject Vital Articles[edit]

Thanks for joining! Specialization is certainly good, and all help will be appreciated. The project's just been created, so a lot of the subpages haven't been created yet and only a few articles have been tagged with {{Vital}}, but hopefully things should really get going soon enough. -Drilnoth (talk) 20:06, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal for new Manual of Style for Thailand-related articles[edit]

A drafted new version of the Manual of Style for Thailand-related articles has been started here. Still at issue are specific naming conventions for Thai royals and nobles and settlements. As a member of WikiProject Thailand, you are welcome to contribute to the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Thailand#Updating the Manual of Style (part 2). Theology work group[edit]

Why do we not have a fuctioning: articles by quality statistics for Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/Theology work group? CAn this be fixed? -- Secisek (talk) 07:19, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A while back, it appears that you created Template:Central America/Class. It was since protected, but I think it needs to be edited to allow C-class articles to be represented. Can you add the coding to allow C-class articles for Central America articles? Thanks. Rlendog (talk) 01:17, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think I got it working, although you may want to double-check that I did it right. Rlendog (talk) 23:48, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hope you fill better[edit]

I wondered what happened to you. Glad to know you are ok! Ltwin (talk) 05:49, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

sorry, there was some confusion, the reply was to Jayen, not you, but I will note your point regarding tone. Thanks. Voxpopulis (talk) 20:14, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrectly tagged WikiProject article categories[edit]

What are Category:Incorrectly tagged WikiProject European Microstates articles Category:Incorrectly tagged WikiProject Melanesia articles Category:Incorrectly tagged WikiProject Polynesia articles and Category:Incorrectly tagged WikiProject Africa articles used for? --Pascal666 (talk) 19:57, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. I'm thinking because they were added to the banners, probably because I found them somewhere else. I think they were in the Biography or Military history banner first. At this point, unfortunately, I regret to say I forgot the initial impetus for their creation, though. I think it had to do with articles which were given higher assessment rating than were yet "verified" by the project, but I'll have to check to find out. Interested in Advocate[edit]

I am interested in an advocate, for Business Plot, but also forever escalating conflicts with those who like to delete material on that page. Ikip (talk) 10:19, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Basically, advocacy, as per Wikipedia:Accessibility advocates, is for those who have some form of accessibility problems with wikipedia, like physical or mental limitations, so that we could serve as "voices" for those individuals if they should face disciplinary measures. If you feel that you meet those criteria, please send me an e-mail through the E-mail this user function in the toolbox and let me know what the specific accessibility limitations are. Like most of the other advocates, I tend to think myself better qualified in some areas than others, and have faults myself. I don't think any of us would want to try to serve as an advocate for someone they themselves, for whatever reason, feel less than comfortable with. My e-mail is enabled for such communications. Well I am embarrased, thanks for clarification. I was looking for a historical page. Ikip (talk) 23:13, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you[edit]

Rollback Request[edit]

I would like to apply for rollback rights, to help make it easier for me to revert vandalism, instead of refreshing Special:RecentChanges all the time (so I can use WP:HG). Comments, grant, deny? Flaming Grunt 09:17, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This page and also the intro-subpage seem to get vandalized on a chronic basis. I have noticed that the main pages and intro-subpages of other portals (see Portal:Islam, Portal:Islam/Selected article, Portal:Islam/Selected biography, etc.) often get indef-semiprotected due to their being linked heavily across lots of pages. Do you think that would be appropriate in this case? Thanks for keeping an eye on it, Cirt (talk) 17:22, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've been a significant contributor to the portal, I'd respectfully defer to you on the actual protection. Cirt (talk) 17:27, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. ;) Cirt (talk) 17:38, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
