Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article List of early emo groups, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Rollback

Hello WarthogDemon, I have granted rollback rights to your account. The reason for this is that, after a review of some of your contributions, I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended use of reverting vandalism: I do not believe you will abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck. I don't think so

As much as I would love for that garbage to be speedied, I don't think it qualifies. Slap a prod on it though, definitely. If it's removed, bring up an AfD. I'll definitely support it. Just curious, why did you ask me? Not that I mind. Just wondering. Hazillow (talk) 01:28, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: Sport Issues

Re your message: The AfD seems reasonable to me. Since you did an AfD for one, I would recommend doing another AfD for the other. The bio and claim to notability is pretty much the same, so doing one AfD and one PROD wouldn't be right. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:58, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Replied here: [8]. -WarthogDemon 22:01, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
Re your message: Since all three articles and their claim to notability is the same: All declared their intention to go to UNC and all played in the 2008 McDonald's High School All-American game with the same references, you can probably bundle them into a single AfD instead of making three separate ones. I would merge with the one for Tyler Zeller and notify any editors who have contributed to the AfD discussion that you modified the AfD. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 22:06, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
Re your message: No need to delete anything. Do redirects of the two you merged over. Actually, I recommend the redirects so that it's easier to find sometime in the future (if necessary). -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 22:11, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Deleting my articles

The players are McDonald's All-Americans and will be significant contributors to the UNC basketball team next season. Do some research before you start nominating articles for deletion. The McDonald's All-Americans are the top ~25 players in the USA out of thousands. Alisha

I'm assuming good faith with the IP, but you may be right about it being somebody impersonating the artist. At any rate, monitoring their contributions is probably a good idea. That said, I feel that "I don't want my name listed" is not a good reason to remove the name from the article. However, since the birth name isn't sourced, WP:BLP gives good reason to remove the name from the article. That's what I've done, under the reason of it being unsourced information, and I've edit-summaried accordingly. —C.Fred (talk) 01:57, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: PIRA Energy Group

It seems semi-notable, however, the article is clearly biased and needs a rewrite. I would advise prod'ing or whacking it down to a stub. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 02:36, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Interact club page

Why do you want my page deleted? It is talking about a Rotary International club. You asked "Does it meet Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies)?" and I'm new to Wikepedia and am not 100% sure what that even means but it says "An organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources." and Rotary International is published in many reliable, independent secondary sources. They have over 1.2 million members world wide, and are the reason why now almost all of the world is polio free. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kpkammer (talkcontribs) 18:24, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Timothy Jospeh Beggs

Dear Mr. WarthogDemon, you recently deleted an article entitle "Timothy Joseph Beggs" which was still under construction at the time of its deletion. It sought to educate and further pursue the growing issue of helathcare in this country, as well as present an "organization" which attampts to tackle this and other global disparities. The name is such because it is also a commentary on students and how they can make a difference in our heavily, adult oriented world. If the name must change, so be it, but the content needs to be spread.-Tim Beggs and EJ Ramoska (beggs_master_esuire) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Beggs master esquire (talkcontribs) -WarthogDemon 19:47, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for making a report about УладзіслаЎ (talk · contribs) at Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention. Unfortunately, your report has been removed due to the username not violating policy, or not being blatant enough for a block. Please remember you should only post infringements on this page if they are so grave that the user needs to be blocked immediately. Others should be discussed with the user in question first, for example using the {{Uw-username}} template. A request for comment can be filed if the user disagrees that their name is against the username policy, or has continued to edit after you have expressed your concern. I should probably point out that non-latin characters are specifically not prohibited. SamBC(talk) 21:13, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Not a complaint

About "list of events called massacres that don't have a double letter in the name". You're right. It was incoherent babble. You (or someone) tagged and deleted so fast I never managed to get the intended content in w a simple paste w/o having an edit conflict. With good cheer and no complaint, let me just say: "There are times when speed is not always desireable". FYI, I'm going to remain a minor editor. Wiki does not interest me that much. However, a couple of articles (List of massacres is one) have caught my interest because of the "bull session" fun of the discussions. Hope this doesn't get me tagged as a trouble maker.Aaaronsmith (talk) 23:30, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: The Papsmears

Re your message: I can understand your pause with the article being around so long, but it had no claim to notability, so it was speedy deletable. As the CSD page says: "speedy" refers to the simple decision-making process, not the length of time since the article was created. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:48, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

25th Amendment Edit

Yes if a movie or TV show has Airforce One, you can bet it has something to do with the President. But it's easy to include the President and Airforce One without making a reference to the 25th amendment. I honestly think if Air Force One hadn't used the 25th amendment as a plot device, 24 wouldn't have used it either. I thought most people would agree that it's a notable tie between the two, but you can reverse the edit [23] if you wish. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Connor Behan (talkcontribs)
