Your username[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created William O. Beeman, and I noticed that your username, "Wbeeman", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Additionally edits to Persian theatre would also be conflict of interest. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Wbeeman. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --- Possibly (talk) 22:41, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, thank you-- I see you have already disclosed on the draft. That tag you placed on the draft is best place on your user page, where it persists. If the draft is published, the tag gets deleted from it. Thanks. --- Possibly (talk) 22:43, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I cleaned up some problems with Draft:Mohammad B. Ghaffari. He looks quite notable, and all that is needed to get it passed in AFC is WP:reliable sources for some of the claims. You will see a citation needed tag ([citation needed]) in the places where RS are required. As Theroadislong mentioned, you cannot use IMDB as a source for anything, as it is user generated-content; almost anyone can set up an IMDB page and say pretty much anything they like.--- Possibly (talk) 22:56, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Ghaffari.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Ghaffari.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. firefly ( t · c ) 10:08, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Ghaffari.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Ghaffari.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 14:30, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
