Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

Hi Webcsdcso,

If you haven't yet, please read my message at Talk:Conseil scolaire de district du Centre-Sud-Ouest#Calm_down, breathe. Thank you for your co-operation! --Qviri (talk) 16:45, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I have read the comment. The "calm down and breathe" smacks of condescention. Other than that, I agree with the comment except to say all of this devolves from ONE person's axe to grind - masquarading as controversy. His baseless claims have been demonstrated on the constitutional level, on the provicial education level and with his accusations of nepotism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Webcsdcso (talkcontribs)

Hello,
Thanks for the reply. Sorry if if you were offended by the phrasing, but I saw that the tempers were running a bit hot and I really don't want this to degenerate into a flame war or a revertfest. I agree that at the moment GST2006's contributions look slightly suspect, but under Wikipedia:Assume good faith, it is important to give him a chance to quote his claims. Once again, note that even if he wants to add a statement basically saying "despite the constitution-granted rights, an activist group known as <name> disagrees with the priviledges and has lobbied to have them removed", he is allowed to under WP:NPOV. (Of course, the group would have to be some established organisation, and not something consisting of one person or created over one afternoon.)
Sorry again if you feel offended. Happy editing! --Qviri (talk) 16:59, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should all try to work together[edit]

I appreciate that you express very strong feelings about the struggle of Frenco-Ontarian and overcomming the banning of French Education in Ontario in the 1900's. You must remenber that a lot more people don't realy care one iota and should be equally respected so that a balance can be reached with the information published. Don't take things so seriously and try to cooprate with people even if you don't agree with them. Being Civil is required. So please stay civil in your comments.--GST2006 03:58, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You are using Wikipedia for your political views and issues vs. the board under the guise of a controversy over established rights of a minority. No cooperation, never.
"You must remenber that a lot more people don't realy care one iota and should be equally respected " - So should we open all pages to revisionist, or anti-rights agendas ? If you don't care, then don't use this page for your "don't care" agenda. There is no balance in using a School board profile page as a sounding board for your Freedom of Information Request campaigns.
