Disney Channel Logo[edit]

I disagree about the logo being inappropriate for Wikipedia. There are no design differences between the SVG recreation and the bitmap image, just the colour and the 3D effects, and one of the main things about the Disney Channel logo is it can be used with or without the effects in any colour combination. The version on the bitmap image has not been used on air or on promotional material here in the UK (and I'm sure the US). Some of the websites you mentioned are using a very basic copy of the logo using the 2003 3D design, not the one on the image. Admitedly, the SVG does need updating, which I am in the process of doing to bring it more in line with how it looks on air. Therefore, for the moment, I am going to revert the articles to the SVG image, especially as the bitmap image has an inappropriate Fair Use Rationale and is therefore at risk of being deleted. --Orry Verducci 17:09, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
