Grand Prix Super Series[edit]

Hi, noticed you are doing some work on the tennis Super Series. Please be aware that there is still some uncertainty about which tournaments were included in this category throughout the years (see article talk page). Also the various mentions on the Super Series in player articles and tennis statistics articles may not always reflect the current content of the Grand Prix Super Series article.--Wolbo (talk) 23:47, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Yes, I am aware of it. I have already red discussions on the talk page. Still, I want to try to add some more structure on this page by using already published information on dedicated 'Super Series' tournaments pages referring to the years that these tournaments acctually were part of Super Series Tour Level.--Werkladder (talk) 00:11, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Wolbo, I see you have corrected things I have corrected previously. (-:
So it is not quite productive to do it this way.
What I try do do here is to distinct Championship Series Tournaments (predecessor of Master Tournaments as we know it nowadays) out of Super Series tournaments which are not predecessor of Master Tournaments, knowing that there were a lot of them in the eightees.
Tournaments table which I have give the name 'Championship Series Tournaments' are just that as some of these tournaments were definitely not a part of Super Series of Tournaments in the early seventies: Rome, Johannesburg or Stockholm among more others such examples, non they were a part of Gran Prix Tour.
Referring to your statement that Championships Series was not a term used on the Grand Prix circuit I have already thanked you for that as I really can not find source where I can relay upon but I see otherwise that this term is widely used on French version of this article. So why French version can use it and English one not? Werkladder (talk) 00:16, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Werkladder, do you mind if I copy this conversation to the article talk page? That is a better place to have this discussion and makes it easier for others to join in. --Wolbo (talk) 20:28, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Wolbo, No. I do not mind. Please, be so kind to move it to the place you think is a beter place to have this discussion. Werkladder (talk) 17:12, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
