Hello! I noted your corrections on the sources in this article, and in addition to saying thank you for what you have already done, I wanted to ask if you would do more?! I would like to take this article to FA status, and in order to do that, every source needs to be fully accurate. It took me a year to find them in the first place and it's a lot for one person to recheck alone. I could really use the help. I would be grateful! Hello. Yes, I plan to finish the design of the sources, but at the moment I’m going to go to bed;) I live in the UTC+4 time zone. As soon as I wake up and get to the computer, I’ll continue. — Werter1995 (talk) 19:33, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Bless you! I have sent you a gazillion thank you's already, and it's not enough! I can't possibly thank you enough! I am so overwhelmingly grateful for all you have done. However do you find these? I would like to know how to do what you have done here. All I know to do is slog through them one by one, and since there are over 600, that's a long slog.
I do have one other question in addition to how you work your magic. This Dif [[1]] has Shlomo Lambroza showing up in red, which I think means there is no link, am I correct? I didn't do anything because I wasn't sure, but does that mean that link should be removed?
So I am asleep while you are awake, but that just means I get to wake up to wonderful surprises! That could not be better! This is truly amazing. Thank you. Jenhawk777 (talk) 21:10, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I type the person's name into Google search and see if there are any relevant links. Regarding Shlomo Lambroza, see WP:REDLINKS, he is a notability author, and redlink is desirable. — Werter1995 (talk) 07:14, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
One at a time then. WOW. I don't know exactly how it has happened, then, that we have ended up with red links - meaning those pages do not exist. I have had to remove them, but there were only about 6, so no big deal. I still think that this is a great addition that I am genuinely grateful for. Is it possible they are on other WP's not the English WP? That would have to be designated. Whatever happened with those few, this is great work. I never would have done this - so I'm glad you did! Thank you! Jenhawk777 (talk) 23:23, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No red links allowed in an FA. Jenhawk777 (talk) 23:24, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is very strange... Werter1995 (talk) 03:18, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Werter1995: @Jenhawk777: That's not actually true. Per WP:REDDEAL, it's general policy not to remove redlinks without specific cause; if a FAC reviewer gets stinky about it, they're doing it outside of the FA criteria. Generalissima (talk) 06:06, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The one time I applied for an FA, a reviewer removed them, and told me it is an "informal policy" because they just don't look professional and that's what FA has to look like. Jenhawk777 (talk) 08:06, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Argh. That's always irritating when reviewers throw in their personal preferences. The only time they're not kosher for FAC is in the lede. Generalissima (talk) 20:24, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, these articles are not available in other language versions; I searched and provided most of these links. — Werter1995 (talk) 03:20, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't know about this. On Wikidata and the Russian Wikipedia this is also posted on the same page. I'll keep it on mind. — Werter1995 (talk) 14:42, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No need to apologize. It's a minor issue and you are obviously trying to do the right thing. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 15:39, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mikail Romanov[edit]

Why did you delete Mikail as son of Anna Petrovna Tcini09 (talk) 14:41, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am not an administrator, I could not delete this article. — Werter1995 (talk) 15:03, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Maison+[edit]

Hi, why did you submit Draft:Maison+ directly after draftification when it was clearly going to be declined for the same reason? The only time I'm aware this is valid is if it is for COI concerns. Did you mean just to add the template so the author could submit if they improved the article? If so then you should use {{subst:AfC draft|username}} or you could use {{draft}}. User:Francoishabib/sandbox[edit]

why did you delete my page, can you please be kind and explain to me what was wrong? Francoishabib (talk) 12:16, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:User pages. Wikipedia userspace is not a webhost service for your bio. — Werter1995 (talk) 12:54, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough I understand but I am not related to the person and I am not that person based on your assumptions. I do not think it is fair to delete something I spent time working on it searching and trying to find reliable sources. based on your experience what do you suggest I can do to prove you that I am not using a Wikipedia as a webhost for my bio. Additionally, can you be so kind and help me at least get a draft of what I wrote. I actually spent time on it and didn't have it printed or saved anywhere. I was writing it based on research. Francoishabib (talk) 13:08, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If the person you are writing about meets the criteria for encyclopedic significance, then write with sources in the main space. Your draft had no sources or evidence of meeting the criteria for encyclopedic significance (see Wikipedia:Notability (academics)). — Werter1995 (talk) 13:39, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
