Hi, I blocked you because you seemed to be recreating a nonsense page. However, I lifted the block almost immediately since you had not been warned. If you were just testing, please take note of this message. jimfbleak 06:11, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Writing autobiographies is not encouraged, since they are unlikely to be neutral as required by an encyclopaedia article, and may be seen as promotional or vanity. If you nevertheless wish to do so, write the article in your word processor first and paste it in to Wikipedia more or less complete. You need to provide independent verifiable sources that you meet the notability guidelines. Jimfbleak.talk.06:22, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Speedy the Snail, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Blanchardb-MeMyEarsMyMouth-timed 15:31, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, I'm afraid that while your ariticle on our little friend speedy the snail did make me smile, it isn't notable for an article on its own on wikipedia. You could find go to MSN Messenger's talk page and leave a message asking if it could be added there, however by itself I don't know if it is even notable for that. If the snail had, say, made George W Bush laugh so hard that he spilt milk over his intercom and short circuited all the electronics in the White House and thus percipitated the moon landing then it would deserve an article, but just as a emoticon in msn, with the info provided so far, it's just not noteworthy enough.... don't be disheartened! Happy editing. SGGH speak! 16:05, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Have a look at WP:ENGVAR[edit]

In a subsection of the Wikipedia Manual of Style, it addresses how to handle differences in spelling between US and British spellings. It has a lot of details, but it basically says that if a topic is strongly linked to one country or another, use that spelling; if not, stay with the original spelling used by the article's initial editor unless you get talk page consensus to change. I don't see such a discussion on the talk page, but if I'm missing something, historically, let me know. So, User: Teles was wrong to call your edits vandalism, I believe that he was correct to revert them. Hope that clears things up. Qwyrxian (talk) 04:49, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
