Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, without the risk of speedy deletion. Radio listeners[edit]

Your edits to Shortwave listening[edit]
I understand you're new to Wikipedia. In addition to being unreferenced, the material you added to Shortwave listening has multiple issues; among them, it gives undue weight to a minor aspect of shortwave listening history, it fails to make its topic clear, and it is written in the style of an essay or book review rather than an encyclopedia. I suggest removal of what you've added and copy it to your Userspace. If the book "World War II Radio Heroes: Letters of Compassion by Lisa Spahr" is notable you might better use the material create an article about the book. - Sorry to have taken so long to get back to you; its taken me a couple of days of tech support to clear my home computer of the virus it got, and I did not want to use my laptop for this since the laptop battery and cable charger are both in need of replacement. I have looked through the article, and it appears to me that the initial work is good, but ti still needs help. I see that the article in question has already been nominated for GA-class, and has been placed on hold pending the updating of certain parts of the article structure. Bu an large, those recommendations would have been mine as well. I did notice that the images were flagged as being in need of review; I have updated their fair use status for you since that can be a tricky issue. As to the article itself, I have made a couple of edits to the article that I believe will allow the article to more easily attain GA-class status here on Wikipedia. I would suggest that you either remove the reviews of the book section from the article altogether or rename the section to "reception" and condense the information down to a paragraph or two; I leave that decision to you to make but if you wish my assistance in the latter option I would be happy to help. User group for Military Historians[edit]
Greetings,
"Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group. It also provides a platform to share the best practices between military historians, and various military related projects on Wikipedias. An initial discussion was has been done between the coordinators and members of WikiProject Military History on English Wikipedia. Now this discussion has been taken to Meta-Wiki. Points can be earned through reviewing articles on the AutoCheck report, reviewing articles listed at WP:MILHIST/ASSESS, reviewing MILHIST-tagged articles at WP:GAN or WP:FAC, and reviewing articles submitted at WP:MILHIST/ACR. Service awards and barnstars are given for set points thresholds, and the top three finishers will receive further awards.
