Hi, most of your edit was fine, though you did go into a little too much detail on who scored how many goals and when, but that's another issue entirely. What I was refering to was the line about Crouch saying he is the fastest player at Liverpool. This statement needs to be sourced, but if it's true then that shouldn't be too hard. Thanks. A couple of cite issues[edit]

1) You have been changing the cite news template, to the cite web template. If a source comes from a news source such as The Times or BBC then you should use the news template, even if it is from the website.

2) You have been using the work attribute, but this is meant where an article is part of a larger piece of work, for the The Times articles this might be ok, but for BBC it isn't, it isn't one work, so don't use it there, rather use the publisher attribute.

3) You have been defining the accessdate in the form accessdate=December 5|accessyear=2007. This is incorrect, you should only use accessdate, or all the individual parts of the date, and the accessdate needs to be in the ISO-8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD).

Firstly my problem with "Known for his quick pace and excellent dribbling, he is considered one of the best young strikers in the world." If it had said "Known for his pace and dribbling[source], he is considered on of the best young strikers in the world.[source]" then I would have left it. If you can a find reliable third-party source for that, then you can put it back in, but the way it was it was simply opinion and has no place on Wikipedia. And words like excellent shouldn't be in there, how do you define excellent dribbling compared to good dribbling. Any measures have to be exact. As another example we shouldn't say "Peter Crouch is a very tall player". You could say "Peter Crouch is 6ft 7in tall".

Secondly earnt versus earned. I have to admit you are right in one way and it is a word in the sense that it is used. I had based that on earnt which usually is very good with British spelling, see colour, instalment & aeroplane. Reading that link you sent me though, it seems that even in British English it is a non-standard word, so I think we should avoid using it when there is a standard spelling which is used by everyone. Liverpool F.C. wiki[edit]

Hello, I am the lead sysop on the Liverpool F.C. wiki. It is a wiki dedicated solely to Liverpool F.C.. We aim to make the ultimate database for the club we all love. Since adopting the incredibly inactive wiki about a month ago we have greatly increased the article count and modernized it from it's previous state. The problem is there are not many active members on the site and we need more for the site to properly grow. It is well organized and on it's way to be a great site we just need more editors to expand. It is based on Wikia's network of wikis. Like Wikipedia it is free to use and the editing process is exactly the same. If you know how to edit Wikipedia you will know how to edit the Liverpool F.C. wiki. Now for the question you may be asking yourself. Why edit there? Wikipedia has articles on Liverpool. This is true. At the Liverpool wiki it is all about Liverpool. We allow editors to edit anything about Liverpool no matter how trivial. We allow edits on reserve and academy players, and even things as trivial as the fitness coaches for the year 2011. We also do not lock pages to registered users. That means if you have something to say about Steven Gerrard you can click edit and not view source and actually write something.
