User:PaoloNapolitano

Hi! I notice that you added an image to your userpage, with a caption suggesting that you are the person pictured. I'm quite sure that you are being facetious, but it reminded me of a recent case where User:PaoloNapolitano, the trolling sockpuppet of a serial sockpuppeteer, did a similar thing with an image from singer Amie Miriello's MySpace, claiming that they were the man pictured with Miriello. I know that that user was blocked just before you started here, but perhaps you heard about it? It was discussed on Wikipedia Review which PaoloNapolitano contributed to and you also reference on your userpage. Oh, never mind, you are familiar with that user. Actually, now that I think about it, your editing is very similar to PaoloNapolitano's, just defending WR instead of whipping up anti-WR sentiment. The use of the image is metaphoric, the comment "Wikitaka on the hunt" refers to the sniffer dog (in case you didn't know) and my work as an "investigator". As for the other claim, it is pure nonsense. I know very little about Paolo Napolitano, I only read one thread on WR about him. What's strange is that Paolo Napolitano apparently criticized WR, while I'm a supporter of the site. The claim is nonsensical. Wikitaka (talk) 16:51, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
