Deletion of Z Corporation page[edit]

You just deleted the Z Corporation page I created, before I had seconds to edit it with the hang on tag. Before you delete an article that took awhile to create, some advice on improving it and a little time so it could remain live would be helpful. That article contained no promotional information, and included several outside, third-party references. It is useful to a broad audience of manufacturing individuals to make their lives easier and to educate them on new technology. Why is the Stratasys article allowed to remain live? That article is purely promotional and no third-party references are even cited. This seems arbitrary and unfair. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated, as this is one of the more frustrating processes I've ever experienced.Asarkof (talk) 18:31, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your response and for tagging the Stratasys page. Can you advise what I can do to the Z Corp page in order to have it accepted?Asarkof (talk) 18:54, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

JAK (JavaScript API Kernel)[edit]

Not sure why you marked this page as spam, please add something to the talk to discuss this. This is a legitimate application that some fortune 500 companies use which is open source. Note that I am new to the wikipedia, and am still getting use to the editing tools and formatting. Guidance as opposed to hacking an article would be appreciated.

Alfredo Caponnetto[edit]

I just realised I was causing you trouble when I was writing on the article's page. I am still learning how to use all the tools here.

My sincere apologies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alfredo caponnetto (talkcontribs) 17:54, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Pharmacy Practice Research Trust[edit]

I was just about to go in there to re-add the hangon tag when I got your message. I agree, the user is making a conscious effort to improve the page, however, the creator of the article (User:PharmUser) makes me believe the account is Single-Purpose, and only exists to advertise an organization. What should we do? Arbiteroftruth (talk) 15:40, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have contacted the author with some suggestions for improvement of the article (citations from external sources for the most part). I would suggest you do the same -- encourage the newbies! I agree that his name MIGHT suggest a vested interest in the organization. On the other hand, he might just be a Pharmacist who knows about this organization.WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:45, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your suggestions. It does recall a time when I was a newbie. I should encourage them. I will take your suggestions to heart. Arbiteroftruth (talk) 15:51, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thank you for welcoming me to wikipedia.Ycyryryry (talk) 19:15, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the advice regarding the inuse tag. I've been editing wiki for a while (years!) but finally got an account. The code confuses me somewhat, are there any editor sort of things that could make this easier for me and reduce my exposure to raw code? Ckyliu (talk) 15:59, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

rat[edit]

thanks - i have merged the pages - hope it worked! Redsolidarch (talk) 12:55, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've restored this article if you want to try improving it. However, I forsee possible problems with WP:Notability, WP:NOT#GUIDE, WP:V and WP:GAMECRUFT. Good luck! Marasmusine (talk) 13:47, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Haywards Heath Referendum Group[edit]

Will this do please? I have carefully removed Jivebabys opinions: Haywards Heath Referendum Group:

A group of residents have formed The Haywards Heath Referendum Group, a strictly non-party political association with members drawn from the local community.

Following a local Referendum which is very rare in the UK, 95% of voters supported the motion which was subsequently adopted during a Special Meeting of the Town Council on 21st July 2008 when members agreed the critical landmark motion: To "adopt the local Referendum result which asked MSDC to put development plans on hold. "

The deputy Mayor confirms that the motion was taken as a “recorded” vote which was carried 9-3 with one abstention, however members have yet to agree the minutes. This has led to extensive debate and the resident mandate from this meeting been delayed.

It is alleged that control and leadership issues continue to undermine credibility with widespread debate following a BBC TV News item on Saturday 13th September 2008. The Mayor has advised that members will again try to agree minutes from the 21st July at its next meeting on 27th October.

Information verifiable from Council Minutes and HHTC correspondence. [Email info@HaywardsHeaths-Referendum.com] —Preceding unsigned comment added by N0t8r1ght (talkcontribs) 14:19, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have placed a suggested copy on my user page. Please review it. I have added references where appropriate, and removed the "this information is verifiable" line -- that part is inappropriate for main article content. If you agree to the content, I would place it as a SUBSECTION of the "Future" section.WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:14, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wikidan

Entrain are back to their meddling tricks -I have resisted the urge to revert their deletion without discussion - and agree that people should not have to email HHRG to verify, howver their was no suggestion in the item to do that.

The BBC have sent a DVD of the news item and I will attempt to provide hosting/linkage to frovide the appropriate neutral citation.

Meanwhile please can you reinstate the remainder of the compromise item?

Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by N0t8r1ght (talkcontribs) 10:15, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tanner Corn[edit]

Thanks for the heads up. When I see a page like that in the future, I'll keep that in mind :) Paranormal Skeptic (talk) 15:39, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
