Your reverts to Iphone

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing in Iphone. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. -- Kesh 17:47, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Can I just say that it was my edit that was reverted, not the other way around. I will not take kindly upon this warning. Note that I reverted your edits once. You performed three reversions in less than 24 hours, hence the warning. Also note I did not report this to WP:ANI as normally would be called for, because I believed you would see the dispute and work with other editors to resolve it, rather than continuing to revert. I see you have not reverted since, which is appreciated.

I looked at: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Iphone&action=history. It shows I only reverted once. I have no idea what you are talking about. I only reverted once and added a disputed tag, after you redirected it. See for yourself above. Your first edit was to revert the Iphone disambiguation page back to a link to iPhone (Linksys). You then performed two more reverts in less than 24 hours to continue reverting to that article. This is 3RR. See the History for that disambiguation page. Relevant changes listed below:

You may also find Help:Reverting useful. Any edit that takes you back to the previous version of a page is a revert, not just clicking "Undo" (which only became available recently). By editing it back to iPhone (Linksys) you reverted the article, and again when you kept changing it to that link.

Again, I had no intention of making this an official action against you. The template message was to alert you to the 3RR violation, so you would not continue (which likely would have resulted in official censure). Thus, the reason I did not submit it to WP:ANI.

If you still feel it necessary to resolve through WP:RfC, I will be more than happy to explain this there as well. -- Kesh 23:57, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Ahh, I see your point. I did not relize my first and second posts counted as reverts. The first edit you listed I did independently of any previous revert by anyone else, or so I thought. Therefore, I did not think of it as a revert; I thought I was the first to redirect to iphone linksys. The second edit on your list was unintented as a revert, as I was attempting to change the other "IPhone" redirect (with the captiol I) and got mixed up. The third and final edit you listed was intented as a revert (hence my count of one revert). Given my apparently incorrect way of counting reverts, I thought you were trying to accuse me of something I did not do. I understand the 3RR rule and certainly would not intentionally violate it. No problem! I figured that was where the confusion came in. And that's why I posted the template, thinking you didn't realize you hit 3RR. I also understand where you're coming from on the iPhone redirect. I'm sorry. I had forgotten that the username had belonged to a longstanding user and is still associated with him to some extent. Hi. Actually, I didn't revert the rename, Raul654 did, at 1ne's request. It seems that 1ne has taken a break from editing, but you can still e-mail him through the website. You would need to have an e-mail account of your own enabled as well in order to be able to use the Emailuser feature though — if you don't at this time, you can do it by editing your Preferences. Office 2007 screenshots/WP:FU

Hi, Please note that under terms of fair use of the Office 2007 screenshots (or for that matter any fair-use image), they can only be used in articles (see fair use criteria). This means that you probably have to remove them from your user subpage. – Chacor 13:08, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

The images I link to are already being used in articles. I simply show lower resolutions previews on my user subpage to help out editors who need screenshots. I didn't think it would be an issue. Changes have been made. Userpage should now comply with fair use rules. And I wasn't missing the point, you were. Windows Vista screenshots

When posting news images in the future, using Windows Vista, please try using this program, it'll make the Glass transparent and will upload with a transparent background behind it, vs. having a background behind the window. Just a piece of advice, I found out about this program just other day.
