Hello Wikieditor. The speedy deletion criterion is invalid and you should not restore it. The article cites a lot of reliable sources and cannot be speedily deleted under {{db-person}}. Why do you want to delete the page? Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 10:26, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly is incorrect with the page? Why don't you try to fix the alleged self-promotion or rewrite the article from an objective point of view? The person is notable according to Wikipedia requirements, see WP:GNG. We can't prevent Mr Cobb to refer to this page on Facebook. We should provide sourced and neutral information about his activities. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 10:36, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Vejvančický (dig your name, btw), if we are going to have bio pages about current Nazis, the first criteria is it should not be created and edited mainly by members of that movement. That page was created and edited by Nazis. Are we a propaganda tool?
If I were to rewrite the page, it would say: this is a Neo-Nazi whose main activity to sockpuppeting and trolling Internet pages to post racist images and videos, for which he then gets banned.
If that's the criteria for notability, then perhaps we should write bio pages for everyone we've banned.
p.s. did you see the fb link? That's someone trying to become notable. Wikipedia shouldn't help him. Wikieditor939 (talk) 11:00, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia reflects the reality as it is covered by reliable sources. The extreme opinions are a part of reality, no matter how disgusting or despicable they are. I'm afraid that Mr Cobb's activities are noted by reliable media, it is apparent from our article. It is important to provide neutral information about notable Neo-Nazi movements and individuals, as it says something about the dangers of the world we live in. Your suggested rewriting would be just your point of view. Any sockpuppeting and trolling in our project should be easily fixable, however, I can't find any sign of this in our article. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 12:15, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article should not be speedy deleted because...[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it meets basic notability criteria:

A person is presumed to be notable if he or she has been the subject of multiple published secondary sources which are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject.

The article currently cites about 30 different reliable published secondary sources, which are intellectually independent of each other. Most of the sources are mainstream news reporting (such as The Vancouver Sun and NBC Montana) which are independent of the subject.

In addition, I don't see any NPOV issue. The article states that Cobb is an "anti-semitic white supremacist" and links to Template:White nationalism.

If you agree with me, please remove the speedy deletion tag. See the following quote from speedy deletion guideline:

If a page is not appropriate for speedy deletion, the page must be edited to remove the speedy deletion tag—this will, in turn, remove the page from Category:Candidates for speedy deletion. Consider notifying the editor who suggested deletion.
