Editing biographies[edit]

I would strongly advise taking something like this easy: a massive, major re-write all in a single edit is usually a mistake.

I must point out that we do not operate on the basis of how the subject of an article feels about an article being edited; they have no more say-so over the articles about themselves, than the government of Albania has about the articles on Albanian history, government, etc.: i.e., if there are inaccuracies, they can post to the talk pages of the article(s) (providing reliable sources for the proposed changes) and request corrections. For more on biographies of living people, see Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:10, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Signing your posts[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:11, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
