Sure, I'd be glad to help. What question(s) do you have? MahangaTalk 23:22, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption[edit]

Hello Will Lowry,

I saw you were looking into adoption! I'd like to offer myself to help you out! Being an experienced editor, with several successful articles and many edits, I thought I would be a good choice! I love to work with new users; they have so much potential! I know how it feels to be a newbie in the ever so confusing Wikipedia. I'm working on a New Users program and I would be so happy to work with you. Before you accept, you might want to look over the adoption guidelines and understand:

  • Forever. Once experienced, an Adoptee will be able to graduate, though likely to stay in touch with their Adopter.
  • A social club. Though fun, Adoption is there to help users use and improve Wikipedia.
  • Just for the newest of users. It is also for users with limited experience who want to expand their involvement.
  • A shield. Adoptees remain solely responsible for their behavior.

There are many benefits to adoption and I'm glad you'd like to get involved. If you're interested, please drop me a line!

Re: Adoption[edit]

Hey Mono,

Thanks for the message, I'm currently working on this article and as you can see it's nowhere near being completed. I've got a few queries before I can really be happy with it: - I'm writing about a podcast so is there a way I can reference the podcast episodes because the website sources are limited and I'd like to be able to prove my points by citing the episode when I learned that point. - I need to upload an image but have absolutely no idea how/where to upload it and then use it in my page. - Generally, how do you think it looks so far?

Thanks for your help! - — Preceding unsigned comment added by Will Lowry (talkcontribs)

Is this you? (1/2) Remember to log in when editing or declare these as an alternative account. If this wasn't you, don't worry, however, there is a policy against sockpuppetry.--mono 02:45, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CheckUp[edit]

It seems you've left Wikipedia, so I am withdrawing my adoption. If you come back, let me know on my talk page and I'd be happy to help.--mono 20:22, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Will Lowry. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Smart Mouths Podcast".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.
