Re:Ida L. Reed Homestead Deletion[edit]

I am sorry that you feel this way about Wikipedia, and I hope that you will stay and give it a chance.

However, I should point out that whenever an article is being edited, there are notes at the bottom that say "Content that violates any copyright will be deleted" and "Do not copy text from other websites without a GFDL-compatible license. It will be deleted." So there is fair warning on that front. There is no way for other editors to know that the person who wrote the original text is also the same person who is editing the current article. If you would like to ensure that these types of articles are not deleted in future, you can follow this guideline:

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

I hope that this explains why the article was deleted. If you have any questions, please leave a message on my talk page. Regards, ... discospinster talk 03:13, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article MBA Case Competitions has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable per WP:NOTDIRECTORY

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
