Please do not copy-paste articles, as you did with Otto von Hapsburg to Prinz Karl Friedrich von Deutschland. Thank you. Someguy1221 04:30, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to start a new article on Prinz Karl Friedrich von Deutschland and I was trying to use the article on Otto von Hapsburg as a template. The new page on von Deutschland was already partially modified with the new information on him. Can you please start that new article for me? I would be most appreciative. Thank you. -William.F.Richards (talk) 03:33, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The best choice in this case would be to use your very own sandbox. Create the copy-paste job at User:William.F.Richards/Sandbox. As your edit summary when creating this article, use: Copy-pasting Otto von Hapsburg for use as template. (this is for copyright reasons.) Articles in userspace are not subject to the same rules as in mainspace , and you can move the page to the correct title once you're finished. Just make sure not to leave any stray facts about Otto von Hapsburg lying around, and make sure to cite your sources. Cheers. Someguy1221 (talk) 06:22, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Someguy1221 for the advice on how to proceed.
