Help forums[edit]

Hello, Willyj89, and welcome to Wikipedia. :) I hope that once we get the VisualEditor completed, you will find it easier to make the changes you want. I just wanted to be sure you were aware of some of the various help forums we have here where you can ask questions like the one you left at the VisualEditor feedback page. One of the best resources for new contributors is Wikipedia:Teahouse. It was designed to be a friendly and welcoming space for newcomers. There is also the Wikipedia:Help desk, which can assist both new and experienced editors.

In terms of the particular issue you've encountered, what you can do is put a note on the talk page of the article and add, just above it, this text: {{edit semi-protected}} (Curly brackets and all)

An experienced volunteer will come by to review and make the change as appropriate. :)

Thanks, and happy editing! --Maggie Dennis (WMF) (talk) 13:38, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
