I have started a proposal to try and get some consensus between the competing vendors warring to get their product(s) on this page to work together to find a set of criteria for a Comparison of Web to print services and software (name may change before the article is actually created). The talk page of the article is where I'd like people to post a link to their page(s) which are "About us" or "Company background", etc. They will not be removed from talk as readily as from the article and an open discussion would probably help move the article forward more readily than everyone putting their links in and removing those of their competitors.

You have been given a copy of this message as you have signed the talk page in question (or I have dug your details out of the article history), I will be making a best-effort attempt to contact all other interested parties. --Brianmc (talk) 09:48, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In general, this sounds like a good idea. I think it would be useful for those searching for solutions to know what the alternatives are (if we can get Max not to nuke the entries). The digital printing council of the PIA/GATF has a list of web-to-print products. It is not as thorough as you might like but it might be an interesting starting point. They also capture what they consider to be the major attributes of each offering. I have some other important attributes to add that could also help. I would be happy to add to the list. How would you like to start this process?
