Is there a reason you're editing out links on the Bossong page? ThuranX 20:55, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

it was a broken link

Have you ever done any research into the records of Zweibrucken, to see if there's any historic trace ofthe Bossongs there? If so, what did you find?ThuranX 00:28, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No. I did not look into the records of Zweibrucken. Sorry I can't help you there ThuranX. --Wjb 19:05, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I see you removed the proposal for deletion on GENCO Supply Chain Solutions without leaving a reason on talk. I'd be keen to hear your reason as this does not seem like an especially noteworthy company.--Saganaki- 12:18, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Heinrich Herzog[edit]

I'd like to figure out a proper citation for the Herzog letter regarding the origins of the Bossongs in the region. Can you help with this, as you were able to find a copy? ThuranX 04:21, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pirates protest[edit]

Hi! Regarding this edit, has it been covered by any reliable sources? Additionally, if the letter has been posted elsewere on the internet (such as a newspaper website), maybe linking to it or using it as a reference in the article would be more appropriate than copy and pasting the entire letter to the article.

I did a quick search and found it on a few blogs, but they usually don't count as reliable sources (sometimes they do). If you could provide sources for this that would be great, otherwise I'm not sure it should be in the article.

BTW, are you going to protest? I admit I am tempted. :D Take care, daveh4h 16:01, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know two of the three guys organizing it though so I know for a fact it's legitimate. Since it's an open letter, it's pretty much only found on blogs. There have been articles in the Trib and PPG citing and quoting some of the organizers. I figured an open letter is just that ... and open letter. That's why I didn't state anything about former Pirates Dock Ellis and Richie Hebner possibly showing up for the protest cause I couldn't cite that. You can leave it off. I just thought it was pertinent to the Pirates' 2007 season. I unfortunately am not able to attend the protest. Wjb 17:46, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I thought it was good info, maybe we'll just wait and see what comes of it. Another user later removed it. If you can source it well feel free to re-add it. daveh4h 18:22, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Today's edits[edit]

Hey ,the information there looks great, but it's going to need some citation, esp. the parts about Frankish origin, and appearances in WIlliam's army. IF you've got the sources, I can help with the citations. I bring this up because surname articles can be tough to validate in the face of challenges like AfD and RfC, short of strong citation.
