FAQ

As it happens, I had never encountered FAQ pages before today, even though there are hundreds of them! Please see Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:FAQ. So Talk:Enneagram of Personality/FAQ is a totally valid page. It should not have a matching page in the (article) namespace; Enneagram of Personality/FAQ was a mistake. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:30, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

I don't understand what you are saying; it seems to fit "G8. Pages dependent on a non-existent or deleted page.Such as talk pages with no corresponding subject page" why should the talk page continue when the underlying page has been deleted. That's why I called for the speedy delete. Anyhow it's being discussed as miscellany for deletion. --Wlmg (talk) 01:11, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

G8 does not apply in this case. Are you going to work through all the FAQ pages implied by Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:FAQ and nominate them for deletion because none of those Talk:Foo/FAQ has a corresponding Foo/FAQ page? In any case G8 is inapplicable: Talk:Foo/FAQ does depend on another page but in this case it is Talk:Foo. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 01:31, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

Huh? So these are sub-talk pages of talkpages? I suppose I get it now, but it seems to me to be a confusing unnecessary embellishment. The fact that you as an admin with tens of thousands of edits have never seen a FAQ page before today says something. --Wlmg (talk) 02:01, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
