Disambiguation link notification for July 2

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hee Haw, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Linda Thompson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Alice Walker as a 21st-century American novelist

I noticed you reverted my addition of Alice Walker to Category:21st-century American novelist. One of the consequences of making Category:American novelists a container category and establishing the non-diffusing by-century categories for American novelists is that additional research is necessary to ensure novelists are placed in all appropriate by-century categories. Many times, for authors who write in multiple forms, the primary wikipedia article does not provide complete bibliography listings. Even when these lists might be complete as to works, information may be missing as to the form of the work. As Obiwankenobi suggested in his re-revert, amazon.com can sometimes establish form and publication date. In the case of Now Is The Time to Open Your Heart I used a review in The New York Times to establish that Now is the Time to Open Your Heart is a novel and that it was published in the 21st century. Sometimes I use Google Books [advanced search] to track down publications that are not likely to have been reviewed in The New York Times or similar publications. Google Books contains the following bibliographical information

Now Is the Time to Open Your Heart: A Novel

Alice Walker

Publisher

Random House LLC, 2004

ISBN

1588363961, 9781588363961

plus a short review that describes the book as a novel.
