Welcome[edit]

Hi, Wnickolas. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to us right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck! dottydotdot (talk) 20:53, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just some of the amazing imagery here.

  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below, feel free to read it in your own time. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Dates[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you have been linking some dates at Mary Bartlett (Warren) recently. This practice is now deprecated. Please see WP:LINKING and WP:MOSNUM. Furthermore, there is an temporary Arbcom injunction on mass linking/delinking of chronological elements, although there is no suggestion from me that you are in breach whatsoever. I'm happy to respond to any inquiries you may have about the matter. Thank you for your attention. Ohconfucius (talk) 04:46, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Mary Bartlett (Warren)[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Mary Bartlett (Warren), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non notable, fails WP:BIO. Wikipedia is not a genealogical database

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
