Speedy deletion of Leading edge school[edit]

A tag has been placed on Leading edge school, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. §FreeRangeFrog 23:34, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Haybridgelogo.gif[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Haybridgelogo.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:24, 15 February 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Camaron | Chris (talk) 11:24, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Wolv.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

Also, this appears to be the schools logo from their website, so I am a bit confused by the claim you created it yourself. Camaron | Chris (talk) 11:42, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The above also applies with File:Bewdley school entrance.jpg. Camaron | Chris (talk) 11:46, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:Ludlow school .jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ludlow school .jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 21:00, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Identity of edits[edit]

Just out of interest, would you mind confirming that edits by 86.*.*.* here are or are not yours. There is no rule against registered users editing logged out for productive edits, I would just like to know how many people are actively involved in editing this page. You can e-mail me if you wish. Recent changes[edit]

I am highly disturbed by recent edits by this account. There have been persistent changes to several articles which are blatant violations of the neutral point of view policy including, but not limited to: [1], [2], [3], [4]. It is also pretty clear that the operator of this account is linked with a local education authority so hence has a very clear conflict of interest, which is clearly linked with the lack of neutrality that has been occurring. Furthermore, requests to follow policy are clearly not being listened to, and the persistent removal of almost all tags on articles is becoming disruptive [5], [6]. If the comments at User:Worcsinfo are correct then Worcestershire County Council are highly mistaken on how Wikipedia operates. Encyclopaedic articles are independently written based on secondary sources in a neutral point of view, not by organisations directly linked to the topic. Such organisations also do not own the articles about themselves. I am going to be frank here - if this editing keeps up, I'm afraid a block may have be given on this account for disruption. I really hope it does not get to that but words are not working, and these edits cannot continue. Camaron | Chris (talk) 18:50, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just so your know, your edits are being discussed on this page. Thanks. Camaron | Chris (talk) 18:38, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:King.gif)[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:King.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 01:27, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for persistently using Wikipedia to promote a selection of schools, you have been warned to stop but has ignored these warnings. You also appear to be making disruptive edits logged out.. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
