Fair Use[edit]

I have uploaded this photo of a distinguished english chemist, now deceased, under "Fair Use Deceased Persons". Is this allowable or is it not eligible for Wikipedia? I'm never keen on fair use when used with regards to people. However, he is deceased, but only a year. I assume you've looked hard for any free images? Long and short is that this is acceptable, but not great - it'd be much better if you could find something free.
