From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — Gareth Hughes 01:52, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. Bob talk 21:59, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

re-complaint[edit]

Hi, I'll reply here, if that's ok. I consider myself an editor because I add content such as text and photographs to the encyclopedia under a free licence and help to maintain it, whereas all I see from your edits are promotional links to your own personal site, which is strongly discouraged per our external links policy. If you really want to help the encyclopedia, how about considering uploading some pictures under a suitable licence? Thanks. Bob talk 08:02, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
